Great way to get a taste of Sri Lanka. It takes you to many of the key highlights of the country, great for first time visitors. The hotel in Kandy sorry, forgot the name was a bit lacking though--water wouldn't consistently stay hot, and the walls were pretty thin so there was a bit of noise. Also, I felt that we were taken to a lot of tourist trap shops where they tried to encourage us to buy various souvenirs, teas, and spices at inflated prices. But they weren't super pushy though, so you can always just say no. All in all though, we'd recommend this.
I had great time. The tour is perfect choice if you want to really visit the most essential places while on the holidays in Sri Lanka in a very comfortable way. My driver was extremely friendly and told a lot about the country during travel. Also choice of the hotels to stay overnight was a perfect match to relax after some sight seeing. I would only add some more time to visit Kandy city or possibility to add the visit in Pinnawala but despite that I am highly recommending this tour for everyone. :
This was really a fantastic experience that brought you face to face with the true essence of Sri Lanka. Not the beaches and the tourists, but the people and their customs, history and traditions. My personal guide, Madushanka, was a wonderful, knowledgeable fellow that was by my side at every step of the journey. Helpful, knowledgeable and respectful, he really helped me understand the various sights and the culture of this amazing country. Additionally, the hotels I stayed were all wonderful venues that were clean and had all amenities and spacious rooms. I highly recommend this tour and Madushanka, if available.
