This afternoon/evening trip was excellent. However, shame we couldn't same the same about the guide, got the impression he really wasn't keen on British people. I took my son off the bus at one of the pick up points as he was desperate for the loo and got told off for making us late even though I was off the bus for less than two minutes! Didn't spoil our enjoyment of the day though, my sons loved the football stadium, we really enjoyed Barcelona city centre and the Montjuic fountains were great.
This is a great way to see the stadium with no fuss! The coach arrived when it said it would and was comfy, air conditioned and well driven. The trip is good value for money and a stress free way to see parts of Barcelona. We had 2 hrs and 15 mins in Camp Nou which was just right. The guide knew a lot about the stadium and spoke every language possible! He was very helpful in giving us practical advice which enhanced our trip. Recommended!
Inside the museum , they will not let you take a picture inside the area with the wining cup, so you are forced to use their official photography that can not give you details of how much does the picture cost.. All they can say no pictures pls...and then no instructions to follow where to go next... My kids had to complain of the stairs to up for the exit...
Bus turned up outside our hotel at exactly the time they said, 1pm. As we were first pick up it was a 2 1/2 hr trek to Barcelona because of having to do so many pick ups but tour guide was very helpful and trip was everything we could hope for. Got back to hotel just after midnight.
The bus was approximately 15 minutes late arriving which is no big issue as it is meant to be a chilling holiday. However this meant that we only had 2 hours at Camp Nou which wasn't enough to do everything you could do. The time in barcelona only gave us time to walk very fast down las rambles and see the harbour fleetingly( no time to look in shops? Good job I don't like shopping) then it was off to the fountains which were spectacular. Classical music would have gone better with the ambience rather than music by one direction and other pop music but that is of no fault of the tour trip. Again we were expected back on the bus at 10. The show didn't finish till 10 and you had 5 to 10 minutes to walk to bus so you had to miss the end of the show. All in all both fountains and Camp Nou are trips well worth doing but I wouldn't recommend doing both on the same day via an organised tour. However I can't fault Viator for the above problems and would definitely use Viator again. It scores low purely because of the rushed tour not the actual places visited.
