Excursión combinada: acceso a primera hora a las ruinas de Tulum además de la Reserva natural de Río Secreto desde Playa del Carmen

I should have heeded others' reviews. We very much enjoyed Tulum and Rio Secreto, but working with Amigo Tours was a negative experience.
1 Though the description said hotel pick-up, it certainly wasn't our hotel. We had to get to a location 2 miles from where we were staying. We left early as we weren't confident about finding a cab at that time in the morning. Arrived at the pick-up location at 6:00am for a 6:30 pick-up.
2 At 6:55, still no pick-up. I called and was told the bus had come and gone without us. Not true as we'd been there the whole time. The operator put me on hold and then came on to say the bus would come back for us. We were finally picked up at 7:15. Come to find out, the bus was just late.
3 We were shifted around to multiple busses. Get on. Get off. Repeat. Too many moving parts. We spent an enormous part of our day moving from one bus to another and stopping at many locations to collect people from other stops and busses.
4 We finally made it to Rio Secreto and upon disembarking were told Someone else would pick us up for the final transfer back to Playa del Carmen. Not so. We ended up having to get our own transportation back.
In the end, the convenience of visiting two places on one tour just wasn't worth the stress and frustration we had to go through. I felt lucky that the extra cost was limited to a 15.00 cab ride, but I certainly wouldn't recommend this tour.
