Buyer Beware: this is a total ripoff. The title of the tour is very misleading. All you are getting is transportation to the lakes and back. No guide or entrance to the lakes is included, both of which have to be paid in cash. The tour bus will stop at a crowded cafe that is convenient for the tour company and earns them more money and they give you no time to get breakfast. If all you want is transportation, then just take a bus there and back, which would cost half or even less.
The bus was punctual. We did not use the services of the guide.
The park is very beautiful , and the trails are worth the effort. However, they are not marked properly, and it is impossible to make an informed choice while on the trail system. For example distances are nonexistent on signs.
The tour was basically taking you to the park - like a taxi service. just driving you there and let you to explore on your own.
That said, I did not expect much more, So it worked for me just fine. You have to be ready to walk a lot and sometimes the walk was a challenge. Overall, if You just want to get there - It's an okay choice.
Well organized trip and energetic guide, which made the tour a great experience. Although this option does not include a guided tour in the park, we were able to switch to that option by paying additional. It's completely worth it and highly recommended because it will save you time with getting entrance tickets and make the most of your time in this beautiful park without getting lost.
Read description carefully. - this is not a guided tour - just transport. But good transport and a great coach ride. You still need to buy an admission ticket on arrival and queues ar a mile long. Would have been better to arrive mid afternoon. This was to be a trip of a life time and although t he views were to die for - sharing it with 45000 close friends made it a frustrating foot shuffle at the best. 2 million people a year - thats 550 peeps per hour coming IN ... not necessarily going out !!No guide - several of our bus members got lost - not well sign posted and only enough time to do one section as too packed to walk. Kids, prams, dogs, zimmer frames .... I think I will watch again on TV with David Attenborough. I hope Krka is better.
I can't recommend this tour enough. Our guide (Jadran) was fantastic! We didn't realise our tour wasn't guided and was nice enough to include me and my other half in his guided tour, and I'm so glad we did. Such a beautiful place, definitely worth a visit!
