The first part of the trip was fantastic! We met our guide Darius / Darial? at the Colosseum. It was a very enjoyable, informative and entertaining trip. We even got a little souvenir at the end! ... The only drawback to this trip was that it is not a 2-in-1... it is two tickets purchased at once. After the Ancient Rome we had to get to the 'When in Rome' offices on our own, which is about an hour's walk from the Roman Forum ... we took the metro, but if not for Google maps we would not have found the offices to get our tickets for the Vatican. Just disappointing if one book a 2-in-1 trip and the supplier doesn't manage it. Also, 1 hour to travel from the Roman Forum to the Vatican and get lunch and finding bathrooms, is just not enough time! Having said that, the service further on was great, we only took the skip-the-line Vatican tickets which is well worth it by the way - the lines are crazy!, on the hindsight, we should have rather taken the guided tour. The Museum was crazy busy and you feel a bit like sheep being herded... make sure not to miss the 'Creation of Adam' in the Sistine chapel we did! - because of the 'herding', also note, St. Peter's are free of charge, but cannot be accessed from the Museum, the security-check ques look daunting, but actually move relatively quickly... make sure you have enough time for the church, a minimum of 2 hours... note you have to purchase a ticket to climb the dome and last admittance is at 16:00. Dress code for the day good walking shoes, jeans and T-shirt ensure knee's and shoulder's are covered - won't be allowed in St. Peter's otherwise ... and maybe pack something for lunch! :- All in all worth it... just 'heads-up' for the travelling in between. PS: Keep valuables safe, lots of Gypsies pick-pocketing.
