Nuestro guía fue excelente. Nos platicó muchos detalles de los lugares que visitamos y hasta nos recomendó lugares para ir a comer y visitar. El tour está muy completo, aunque hubiera estado padre visitar la arena y el tercer nivel.

El tour lo brindó Tour in the City. Hubo mucho desorden en el tour lo cual nos dejó completamente insatisfechos. El tour era a las 10 y entramos al coliseo casi a las 12. Compramos Skip the Line, pero nos tocó hacer la fila nos sentimos estafados. Por último, no nos dieron auriculares, con lo cual era muy dificil escuchar la guía. Muy caro el tour para tan baja calidad.

The local company representative was not helpful when we had an issue and she i believe her name started with an L screamed at us at the top of her lungs for 45 minutes, offering no solution and telling us to leave. When we finally resolved our problem by having to call Viator and pay international call fee, we were deemed late when we arrived 15 minutes prior to our tour time and were denied access to the tour. we were then asked to pay extra to be rescheduled and when we arrived 45 minutes early to our now rescheduled tour the tour guide was late and we did not end up leaving until 7 minutes past our scheduled tour time. The guide did not speak english well and would use words that did not make sense in the context, which led to inability to understand what she was talking about. The guide would also just point at her book without giving any explanation as if we were supposed to read an explanation in her book while we are in a large group tour and without a tour guide who is being paid to inform us about what we are seeing.

Make sure you do this early in the day, if it is going to be hot, and take a photo id. The security is getting quite strict. Our guide did a very good job of trying to get us into the best photo spots and made sure, with her big photos from her tote bag, that we understood what it really looked like in ancient times.

This was not my favorite tour. Quite a bit of standing in line to see some old ruins. The guide did a good job, but we had to be there early and waited for the time to go inside. Seeing it from the outside pretty much tells the story and at night it is actually pretty, but you don't need a tour to do that.

Our tour got off to a bad start as it was pouring with rain and the guide Max walked so fast that he managed to lose 6 of us before we had even got into the Colosseum. Luckily we found another guide in the area who phoned the company for us, located where our group was, and kindly took us there. After that things went more smoothly, we appreciated skipping the line to get in and the tour of the Colosseum was interesting. We were told the guide would then take us to the Forum and get us in so we could walk around by ourselves. In the event we had to wait around for an hour for another guide to come and do this, which was a waste of time in by then hot sunshine.
So overall we got what we wanted out of the tour but were not impressed with the inefficiency of the logistics. Might have been better and quicker to just go early and queue.

I knew more about the coliseum than our guide! Had a very difficult time understanding him. It would be nice to have someone who is fluent in English do the English speaking tours!!

Great tour! Very interesting. A must see while in Rome

This tour is not worth the money in my opinion. It was a hurry up and wait situation. We had to wait for a guide, the guide briefly went over some of the larger points, but only made 2 stops within the Colosseum. We had expected more of an in depth tour for what we had to pay.
We felt that the tour and experience upon arrival to be worth what we paid, the tour guide kept repeating herself and pointed to a book. Very disappointed.
We even sent an email to Viator and they did not help at all.
