This tour was excellent. Tour guides English was good. Was just as described.

Tram skip the line was great. Walked past all the other people waiting in line.

Tour included access to Victoria Peaks Sky Terrace 428.

Worth every bit.

A good overview of the city. One of the features of this tour was a visit to the peak by tram - but the city was shrouded in fog - hope you have better luck. The fishing village was a short boat trip through the Bay to see the moored fishing fleet, most of which was derelict. Interesting, but not uplifting. We also went to the Stanley Market - very large, but highly repetitive, although it is a good place to stop for lunch. This tour gets you around much of the city, from the crowded center to the suburbs, so does give you a sense of the city. Well worth the half day.

This tour is a good way to see Hong Kong Island. The best part is the Peak Tram, I'm not sure if it was just timing since we started early that we did not have to wait at all in line and they were very few people there at that time. It was disappointing that we had to pay 60HKD to go on the sampan that information was not on the description. The Jewelry factory was OK and the last stop at Stanley Market was too short. But all in all an OK way to spend half a day.

I booked this tour as I wanted to go to the areas that this tour went. They delivered and we went to these places. The Jewelry factory was nothing more than a stop to allow tourists to buy jewelry, I am sure for some this is a highlight, for me it wasn't and although I understand that others may want this, it seemed that too much time was spent here as most people seemed to be waiting around, not buying anything, waiting for the next stop on the tour. The group was too large and the tour guide didn't seem to provide much information about the city other than the about the high real estate prices in HK.

The sampan ride in Aberdeen was interesting, however no information was provided as to what we were seeing. Note the sampan ride is optional and worth the 60HKD, if you choose not to do this you really have no where to go other than to wait for the rest of the tour to get back. It is in an area that isn't very scenic unless you are on the boat.

On the plus side, the Tram to Victoria Peak was an interesting experience and the ticket allowed us VIP access to the tram, basically, you are at the front of the line, very beneficial. The views from The Peak were stunning and worth the trip. Stanley market was a good place to walk around and pick up souvenirs and such, ample time was given to explore the market, and it didn't seem like it was too long.

So why only two stars? The tour was only Okay and I think the tour could have been better. I booked four other tours in and around HK that were much more organized, better run and more informative. The tour delivered on what it said it would, but the tour didn't impress me. It felt more like paying for a ride to go from place to place than what I would expect from a tour.

If you want an easy way to see some sights, this may be for you. If you are more adventurous and enjoy exploring on your own, you can easily see these sights without booking a tour. I am happy I did the tour, but I didn't love it.

I hope this review is helpful.

Leo was amazing. All the other comments about the fishing village and jewelry and market were spot on.

My third trip to Hong Kong and I never cease to be amazed. Great advice from our tour guide.

Overall tour was good, especially when you have less time. The best feature was cutting through the queues for the Victoria Peak Tram, there were really long queues but we went straight in as we were part of a group tour. Saw this as a massive advantage looking at the crowd. Our Guide Ross was very friendly and well informed. The Sampan ride and the Aberdeen Markets could be a miss. Check out the Promenade when you go to Stanley beach/markets.

This tour was really good. We had already been in Hong Kong for a few days and this tour still managed to show us things that we didn't know existed. Several people bought very nice trinkets at the jewelry factory we stopped at for reasonable prices. The double decker bus was a treat to see some amazing sights. The boat part of the tour was a little cold and windy but we appreciated the ability to jump on one and experience that portion. Definitely recommend taking the tour.

Apart from the pick up point being far from our hotel it was a good trip. We went to The Peak, up on the train and down by bus, thankfully, as I think it would have been most uncomfortable going down the mountain seated backwards! Our guide was apologizing profusely because we got stuck in a traffic jam, it wasn't his fault! Then we went to Aberdeen, a nice boaty place where the fishing fleet is, then to Stanley Market . It was a nice overview of HK island. As it was getting late in the afternoon some of the stalls were closing ,but that didn't bother me too much as I am not a market person. The bus was clean and comfortable.

Had a very nice tour guide. Went to Victoria Peak , toured parts of Hong Kong, Stanley Park, and a jewelry factory. Would suggest you not go on Luner New Year's day as a lot of the stores are closed the day we went . but still a nice tour.
