This has to be the best of Singapore.
During the day there is the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forrest, which are amazing, as well as the main three 'Bay' gardens. At night the light show at the Supertrees is fantastic, but be there early if you want to find somewhere to sit. A visit to Singapore wouldn't be the same without a visit.
Entrance to the gardens was surprisingly free, price paid for entrance to both domes was worth it especially the rain forest. Light show was like nothing we had ever seen before, totally amazing. Best time to go is mid afternoon, then you have time to walk all of the magnificent park and find a good spot to view the light show. You can take a picnic and sit on the lawn to watch the show, and as its free you can do this every night if you want to!!!
We enjoyed the same tour guide in this tour as we did with Little India - so this was also just an amazing day!! Dontt miss these gardens!! And if you happen to have a tour guide named Senator Wong, you should consider yourself lucky!!!
I was unable to use the voucher Viator sold me. I had to pay cash on the day of my tour. The people at the Gardens By The Bay called Viator 3 times and the phone just rang and rang- no answer and no answering machine. I can find no place on this site to contact Viator's customer service team they talk about. I am hoping they contact me as a result of this post.
If you book before visiting it makes things so much easier and there is n doubt that if you visit Singapore this is somewhere you must visit. What an amazing experience and feel that another visit should be made.
Excellent. Suitable for all age groups and easy access . We visited The Dome and The Cloud forest both very interesting and informative. Beautiful flowers. At the end of the tour in The Cloud Forest there is a section on how pollution is affecting the planet/world and how we can help. It certainly gives food for thought and an awareness. Very well worth a visit. There is no rush you can stay for as long as you want. Enjoy.
