Great time, well toured, highly recommended

Great tour of various parks to view the cherry blossom trees and although we were a little early to experience the sakura in full bloom, it was still beautiful and enjoyable walking through the parks. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, and she gave us a short history of the temples we drove past and the parks we were visiting so it was great to learn about Japan's history. Wish all of the tours were this informative as it made the tour much more interesting.

Good tour with a lively and attentive guide, and we saw plenty of cherry blossom at Shinjuku Gyoen, but not all that much at Showa Commemorative National Government Park which was very large and required rather more walking than we had anticipated and for which there wasn't much time. It wasn't perhaps the best choice of blossom sites for that week. We saw better spots elsewhere in Tokyo off-tour. Lunch was very pleasant and provided very traditional food and style......we liked it all. The Tokyo Tower was crowded and a bit tired. Renovations meant we couldn't get to the very top, so it was just Ok. Our guide Mamome? made it a worthwhile day in any case.

This should have been an awesome tour! It turned into more like a forced March. After a couple did not return to the meeting point after the first stop, we waited 30 minutes for them. This threw us behind and the second stop was quite the ordeal to get through the gardens. No free time, only see what the guide walked quickly past. This was a beautiful tour plan. The gardens were gorgeous! Again because we were late, our lunch was not fresh the bento box was a great way to sample the cuisine, and the stop was, again beautiful. The tower offered spectacular views, but again a rushed agenda for those passengers taking a cruise that night, we were not, but had to rush anyway for them. We decided to leave the tour at the tower and venture on our own. We did the courtesy of telling the guide we would not continue, along with another man who was on the tour, so they would not be waiting on us. All in all, the facilities were beautiful, the tour company itself was a let down.

I do not, unfortunately, remember our tour guide's name, but she was exceptionally knowledgeable and made the tour an amazing experience. We were very lucky to have seen all of the cherry blossoms in full bloom. Every stop was beautiful. Our guide was an excellent hostess.

Of all the tours we went on, this was by far the best. Not only did we get to see the sakura in bloom, we were given a good amount of time at each stop to take our time and take in our surroundings. We went to Tokyo Tower and actually got to spend time browsing the gift shops. On the half day Tokyo City Tour, we were in, up and out before we even knew what hit us! I would highly recommend this tour if you are going during sakura season. It is so worth it.

The guide took us to Showa Park first, where we walked around on our own to explore the beauty of the cherry blossoms. We saw a bonsai area and the caretaker of the trees. We walked around the park itself where it is filled with sakuras, pink and white, everywhere. We then traveled to an old area in the park where there is a little Edo village. We met a gentleman who explained the buildings there were over 240 years old! He showed us around one of the houses and explained each room as we walked through and what purposed they served. Very unexpected in such a huge park! Our next stop was the traditional Japanese lunch. While it was a good experience, the food wasn't very tasty to me. Still, we ate it as if it was the best thing ever! After lunch, we went to Chidorigafuchi and Kitanomaru Park where we got to see more sakuras and saw the oldest gate of Edo Castle. The view of the trees along the water was amazing. Our last stop was actually Tokyo Tower. The tower has pretty good attractions such as a One Piece tour, paid separately, and a small shop on the ground floor. If you are an anime/manga fan, I would highly recommend taking some time to browse the shop. There's a lot there to buy.

Thoroughly enjoyed Showa Kinen Park component! Fabulous orchard of flowering cherry blossoms, tulips, poppies and bonsai display. Would have preferred a picnic style bento box lunch here instead of at restaurant to give us more time. Tokyo Tower nothing exciting. Tour guide lovely and considerate of all guests.

The tour was wonderful! Our tour guide was very nice and friendly in the Japanese way. There were only two sites visited for the cherry blossom and then the Tokyo tower. Lunch was really nice. Expect a lot of people but the view is worth it.
