We had a lot of fun on this tour. We were picked up at a pre-arranged location near our hotel. As soon as the van was full approx. 16 people, we went for a beautiful drive along the Cape, accompanied by interesting info provided by Mike, our guide. Mike was knowledgable and personable. He was eager to answer questions and help us all have an enjoyable day. We stopped for an optional boat ride into Hout Bay to see a seal colony. That was fun, but if you are on a budget, you may not regret skipping this part. Other stops on the tour included great penguin viewing, a nice lunch outdoors, a hike up to the Cape lighthouse, and a short bike ride. The location for the bike ride was amazing and flat and made us wish we had our road bikes with us to explore the area widely. The bikes provided were in very rough shape. Rusty old mountain bikes. Mine had a very loose headset. Several of the helmets were old and had broken straps. This is the reason for four stars in this review and not five. Our driver, Freddy, was delightful and did his best to fit the bikes to the riders.
