Unexpectedly fabulous food. Day 1 is a nice, softball walk, but Day 2 has much more vertical than the online information lads one to believe - over 3,400 feet more than 1,100 meters of total climb, with 2 killer uphills at the very end of the very long day. Day 2, especially, requires a lot of stamina. However, the trail winds through a myriad of fascinating micro bio-environments and has terrific vista that make the trek more than worthwhile. If you are a hiker, this is a must not miss, laid on by a very good walking company.
