Wonderful ATV Cenote Village giving Food
, ene 2020
We are active Seniors from Texas this on our Must list due to Reviews. PU at hotel only 8 people on Sunday. Great Guide JeanPaul. Two place Polaris ATVs through Jungle. I am 82. My wife drove the one with Stick shift as young folks couldn't!! Wear swim suit for refreshing swim in beautiful Cenote fresh water spring. Then to low income village with nice families and kids. Opted to buy basic groceries for 100 pesos to give out. We also knew from TripAdvisor kids loved Crayons and Coloring books. We brought 4 sets with us to give out. Next January will bring More. Humbled us to see such appreciative smiles and gracias. Lunch of tacos and empanada and drink made by local lady. Will Return. ALSO Hghly recommend Chichen Itza Mayaland Greyline 11hours worth it.

Unfortunately had several mechanical issues with utv equipment that delayed the tour longer than expected. Need updated equipment.
Best tour!

This adventure was great! The buggy ride was fun & the cenote was beautiful. We visited the local village deeper in the jungle & handed out groceries, it was a humbling experience. Our 2 guides were fun, knowledgable and made the whole experience perfect. Highly recommend this tour!
Buggy Tour itself is great

Buggy tour was fantastic and we would highly, highly recommend it. Our guide was Angel and he did a terrific job. You start off with a safety briefing and then drive down the main road for 5 mins before diverting into the backroads/jungle. Our first stop was the cenote which was small but nice. We didn't swim but it looked really nice. There are some rocks from which you can jump into the cenote. After this stop, we headed to a clearing under some large power lines in the jungle where there is a settlement. This settlement is incredibly impoverished and there is an opportunity to support them with groceries ($6 per bag) and then there is collection organized by the local school where you can distribute them. As you approach this settlement, the little kids come out and give you high 5s and they are very excited to see you. After distributing the food, you stop at a local "house" where local hosts prepare you lunch which was homemade empanadas and tacos. Both were very good and the hosts where very generous and hospitable. After lunch, you ride through the jungle for a bit longer and then return to the starting point. The ride is generally bumpy and you go through a lot of puddles where you can get quiet dirty. Bring some dirty clothes and shoes as you will be filthy at the end. The company provides goggles and bandanas for the trip along with some cold water bottles. You don't go too fast with the max speed being around 30 mph. Our only gripe was the transportation to and from the buggy tour which was included. The driver was on time but it took us 1.5 hours to get to the destination because of the multiple stops that we made at the various hotels and as luck would have it we were the first ones on and the last ones off. I would recommend taking a taxi and avoiding this hassle. But otherwise it was a great trip and I highly recommend it! Word of caution, there are no restrooms on the way so be prepared to use nature!
Great time

Best excursion in Mexico
, jul 2019
This was our favourite excursion that we did in Mexico, staff were amazing and very informative, jeeps were fun and cenote swim was incredible but very cold. Our favourite part was the Mayan village, very humbling experience and really made you think how lucky we are ! All in all incredible and I’m so honoured I got to experience it. Thank you to the staff there, amazing work

That is the spelling of the sound of the buggies. Four of us got in THE BEAST no problem. Fun ride, maybe a little straighter and flatter than expected but still fun. The cenote was just so quiet and peaceful. Bring a couple bucks or pesos for a local taco and cerveca.
Unexciting jungle time
, abr 2019
First let me say that the tour guides were fantastic. Very pleasant and personable. There really wasn’t much they could do about the content of the tour. The jungle experience was very disappointing. Staying on a dirt road going down the same looking for over an hour and a half held no excitement for us, There was no jungle experience, no animals, no flora, no education presented. The swim fun and the Mayan village is a great idea but needs to include conversations/interactions with the locals. Stopping and buying food supplies to give away is a wonderful idea but needs to be explained before purchasing a ticket, with “the donation” explained before buying a ticket. Love the idea of giving to people in need, happy to do so but clarity of expectations of “donating” items should be made clear. It might be possible that somebody purchasing your tour doesn’t have the extra income to donate and may feel embarrassed that they could not purchase items to donate. So overall I only give this to her three stars and very disappointed that Tripadvisor gave it five stars. I won’t be listening to Tripadvisor in the future.
Best excursion ever!
