Esta fue la mejor experiencia de Roma, la antigua Ostia fue hermosa para visitar, ¡y la conducción fue perfecta! Ella nos cuidó súper bien, pudimos cepillar a los caballos y alimentarlos también, mi novio estaba súper asustado pero ella lo pensó muy bien y se lo pasó muy bien. El almuerzo fue súper bonito y la ciudad fue increíble. Realmente pensamos que sacamos mucho de nuestro dinero.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BOOK THIS TRIP! I am beyond frustrated and disappointed with the local tour guide. Despite reading the negative reviews, I foolishly thought that the positive ones would outweigh the bad. From the get-go, this tour guide was a nightmare to deal with. I tried to contact her in the morning since our trip was scheduled for 10 am, and she didn't respond until 9:40 am, telling me that she had to postpone the meeting until 1 pm. When I requested a refund, she flatly refused. Reluctantly, I agreed to meet her at 1 pm, and then the real nightmare began. She was 15 minutes late, and then she kept me waiting on the phone for another 30 minutes, making excuses about being stuck in traffic. When I finally asked for her location to assess how long she'd take to get there, she barked at me, refusing to share her whereabouts. She even had the audacity to blame my hometown for my frustration! I felt so disrespected and fed up with her attitude. She hung up on me and blocked me. This tour guide was incredibly unprofessional and inconsiderate, and she wasted our time! We were stuck in the area and couldn't do anything else. It was a terrible way to start our vacation, and I wouldn't recommend this tour to anyone! I urge you to stay away from this tour and save yourself the headache.

Horse Riding Trail in Ancient Rome

Such a wonderful experience! Alessia is such a lovely woman and was very informative during the history part of our experience. She allowed us to groom our horses before taking off through the forest and I cannot express my gratitude to her in making this an unforgettable experience! Would 100% recommend.

Horse riding with a bonus

This was booked as a surprise for my partner and was so worth it. So Lovely meeting Alessia who collected and dropped us off. Kept us fed and with drinks before and after excursion. We not only got to ride the horses but fed and groom them. We got to learn all about horses personality, health and behaviours. Alessia made us very confident with riding the horses as it had been a while. As well as a lot of history of Rome as we rode around the gorgeous countryside of Ancient Rome. So much more than we expected.

I was really looking forward to this event during my short trip to Rome. I made my reservation for 10am which is what was available online and made my payment for 2. I received a text later saying 10am was not available anymore and I should pick a later time. I responded saying I have another reservation somewhere else at 2pm so I won't be able to do a later time. They said my reservation had been moved to 11am and I would have plenty of time to get to my next reservation. I got to the meet up point a little early. Waited until 11am and there was no one there. Called multiple times and texted but no response. Finally got a text back that they were running late. We kept waiting. I texted again after sometime to ask how far they were, they said they were stuck in traffic but will be there. After some more time, I text back and said I had to leave because I had to make it to my next reservation and the location was over 30 minutes away. I got a text response saying they will not refund my money. It was a complete waist of my time and money not only on the tickets but also the uber to and from the meet up point which was far from where I was staying.

This was an amazing adventure!!! We were instructed to meet up with Alessia at Ostia Antica Bar right near the train station. We enjoyed panini, espresso and a cafe latte while we waited - fabulous! Alessia brought us over to her horse stables, which is only about 5 - 10 minutes away. We met our horses and were able to feed them, water them and brush them before saddling up. It was great to bond with them - loved my horse! We set out on the the very ancient roads and Alessia provided a wonderful wealth of information concerning the very colorful history! It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The time passed so quickly! After our ride, we were taken back to Ostia Antica with an immense appreciation! We were treated to a cold beer before heading back to Roma! We will DEFINITELY book this adventure again, but as I told Alessia, we plan on booking the whole day with her and riding out to the beach! We also plan on exploring the area, as it's unbelievable!!! THANK YOU ALESSIA!!!!

Guide showed up over an hour later than scheduled time, and refused a refund. Claimed to have sent a message changing times, but not received. Reached out multiple times via WhatsApp and direct text with no response for over an hour.

At first we were little affraid of using public transportation, but Ostia Antica was so easy to reach from Rome!! Alessia was friendly, spoke good english and had good knowledge of the ancient history. Her horses were so beautiful and super kind! I imagined the tour a bit different, but we still had such a great time and the food was good! One minus point for being late, but still i would absolutely recommend her tours! 🌺

It was really nice, an hour right but when it was time for food, they dropped us off and told us we were getting appetizers and pizza. But the restaurant just gave appetizers and left us alone for an hour. I asked about our pizza and they said they don’t make pizza on Sundays and are closing. So really, we got some bread but the horses were great!

Allesia was an absolutely amazing host, she was incredibly welcoming and spoke excellent English. We were given clear instructions to get to the venue and enjoyed a complimentary breakfast at the cafe. Her horses are all rescue horses and clearly looked after so well, we spent time with them brushing them and getting them in from their field which was excellent. During the ride Allesia shared lots of history about Ancient Rome and where we were riding through. We were able to ride at our own ability and we’re given horses to suit this. (One novice and one complete beginner) Could not recommend this anymore, the surroundings were as beautiful as the horses and extremely therapeutic! To end the day we were taken to a lovely restaurant for complimentary lunch and alcoholic drinks which were delicious! Would definitely go back, absolutely worth every penny. Thank you Allesia!

This is a must-have experience for anyone who likes horses! I also recommend this for first-timers and people who still feel a little insecure or scared around horses as this experience will change all that and leave you wanting more. The guide was super friendly and professional. She told us a lot about the local history and gave us great travel tips. We rode in beautiful places and really got the chance to connect with the horses, so it was not just a touristy "hop on & hop off" sort of thing. It was also very obvious that the horses were well cared for.

Alessia super disponibile, cavalli curati e amati. Prima di iniziare si prende confidenza col cavallo, gli si dà da mangiare, una bella spazzolata e si parte. Lo consiglio a tutti quelli che vogliono non solo fare una passeggiata diversa, ma vogliono avere un rapporto unico e intenso con un animale molto intelligente, ne vale veramente la pena, ci torneremo!
