El barco y la tripulación Magenta fueron excepcionales: un barco muy agradable y limpio, actividades interesantes y comida fenomenal. El servicio de recogida fue espantoso por decirlo suavemente. La llegada al barco también es mucho más tarde de lo anunciado, lo que reduce materialmente el tiempo disponible para las actividades diurnas en lo que ya es un itinerario corto. Lleve las críticas muy positivas con una pizca a una montaña de sal: me ofrecieron transporte gratuito (probablemente por valor de ~ $ 10-15) al aeropuerto si y solo si dejaba una crítica positiva. En mi experiencia, si puedes reservar el Magenta y evitar al operador turístico, ¡estás en el negocio!

Ha long bay is an amazing destination. The stuff was so nice and Tom, our guide was really friendly and helpful. I enjoyed all the activities and so much good food.

If I would go again, I would have done the one day tour instead of the overnight for sure. The main activities are the same so you basically get to see the main things. Food on the boat was not good. Rooms were ok but at least mine was extremely noisy due to the boats machine noises so I never managed to sleep. Any inside the boat activities (thai chi, cooking class) were very average and that was the main difference with daily cruises instead of overnight so I wouldn’t spend the night there. The place itself (Halong bay) was superb.

It was a nice cruise. The guide in our trip doesn't used to travel with us to tell us about the particular places instead gives us a brief explanation in the starting and gives a time bound to reach to the exit point till then to explore and move according to individual pace. The party vibe was less which was the only thing I felt was missing.

This was a great quick cruise we decided to do during our trip! The staff were very nice and professional. A few tips: if you’re vegetarian they will serve you at your table and the food will keep on coming!! The piña colada was amazing. There is a heater and AC in the room. We booked a room without a balcony and it did not look like the pictures but was perfectly fine for the trip. Mr. Tom was very funny and professional and made sure we had a great experience.

Good place and worth doing a cruise. This particular booking was quite average, it started with poor communication. The 1 person who contacted us before only told us that we will receive all info 1 day before @ 11pm. The pickup was a nightmare and no one confirmed when we will be picked up or even if we will be picked up. I tried to ring 2 contacts, who had pinged me and they don't pick the phone at ALL. The cruise was nice, but no information is given beforehand on places that will be visited or what food will be served. Language is an issue and also food was quite average with really no good options for vegetarians. You will like it if you have sea food, in our 3 meals - we had only 1 option with chicken. Timelines are quite bizarre with no flexibility, I missed a boating at 7am as I was late by 4 mins. Breakfast timing is 6-7am, they are quite inflexible on timing and also not polite. I am talking about 5 mins here.

this was a very good cruise experience! The ship was very beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The booking manager was also very nice and extremely helpful. They set up hotel pickup and airport drop off for us which was great!

Oustanding experience

This was our best experience ever in Halong Bay. Fast booking and they helped for luggages and helped for things before our trip to Halong and lots of information were sent before the trip one day. Food, activities, transfer were included and walk in cave, kayak, islanf tours were included as well. The scenery in Halong Bay is stunning and beautiful. Would definitely recommend this tour

Scenery amazing but the handling of tour not do great.

The scenery we did get to see was amazing. We requested 2 rooms but we’re given 1 to share among 3 people which was very small and tightly spaced. The rooms were not very clean either. What was on the itinerary was not fully completed either.

Great cruise with full itinerary

Great cruise around Halong Bay. The itinerary is very full but it left plenty of time to be doing the activities so nothing was rushed. Our tour guide Jade was brilliant from start to finish.

We booked our cruise much ahead of time in July for our travel in Nov. while booking we selected 6 Star Cruise, but no name for the cruise was mentioned just the pic was shown. Just 2days prior our cruise name was disclosed ‘Le Theatre’ also the operator told us to take the VIP room on a 5 star cruise ‘Le Journey’.Saying “if I were u, I would take this offer” Totally confusing us. We stuck to our booking. The pick up van was bad, the transfer to the ship was bad, the ship itself was no where a 6 Star…bad upkeep, room was nothing like the pic on the viator site. Only saving grace was the staff on the cruise…very courteous. We paid $476 and nothing was close to the money paid. Please be careful before you book, better to book directly with the cruise operator than on Viator.

Thank u for booking and joined cruise with us on No15,16 - 2022 at a great cruise. => U booked and paid for LE THEATRE CRUISE and it is 6 stars cruise, and u paid 476usd for JUNIOR SUITE CABIN AT 1ST FLOOR, NO BATHTUB but PRIVATE BALCONY (included limousine bus round trip with us) and the same cabin, u can check on booking.com, and it is 486usd (not included limousine bus 35usd/person ) . Please see the reviews of this cruise on booking.com, too, lots of great reviews and for our reputation and we never put customers at bad cruises. Many travelers are happy to change to stay at VIP CABIN of lower class cruise and 100% of them are HAPPY and we always commit the best for customers. Ha Long Bay is not to miss cruise, but choice of cruise/ agency is equally important. Lot of fake claims regarding room/ facility are made by these agents. This agent/ cruise is not suitable for vegetarian, they don’t care at all.

The pictures are misleading, please ensure which cruise you’re booking because when we reached there, the rooms were so small & cramped up! Our tour guide - Tom - was excellent though, but the cruise could have been much much better.

A wonderful way to book a cruise in Halong Bay.

Once we reached out via WhatsApp, the contact person offered two options of cruises with one being described as a 3/4 star cruise and one being described as a 5 star cruise that we could take if we paid an additional 80ish dollars. We were on our honeymoon so we were decided to splurge a little so I can't talk about the base cruise, but the 5 star cruise certainly seemed worth the price. While most of the activites seem pretty standard for Halong Bay (Surprise Cave, Beach, squid fishing, kayaking) the cruise staff was funny, nice, and generally fun to talk to. Coupled with delicious meals, a buy one get one happy hour, and generally just very nice/luxurious accommodations made our trip to Halong Bay wonderful and memorable. The busses to and from Halong Bay were also very comfortable. The operator also offered to set up a private shuttle to the hanoi airport, but we had already booked that ride so we declined that offer.

This is why you come to Vietnam folks! The boat was beautiful and sexy (if you know what I mean ;)), the kayaking & swimming was next level, the food and service was impeccable. Our room was gorgeous. Our host was also soooo fun and kind. I couldn’t recommend more and would do it again for a whole week!

This tour was amazing! Pickup at the hotel was on time, the guide and the staff on the cruise very kind and friendly. The room was nice! We enjoyed all the proposed activities. We met fantastic people, we ended up doing karaoke till late even if at the beginning nobody wanted to sing! We were very lucky with the weather: we found a gorgeous sunset. We highly recommend this tour!!!
