Tour cataratas

Wonderful Day

This trip was excellent. I felt that I learnt so much from our local guide - he was so interesting and enthusiastic. The family home was beautiful, and so was the walk to and from the waterfalls. We were even joined by the family dog for part of the walk! Our trip ended with some delicious food at a restaurant at the top of the hill. It was a bit pricey for what you got, but it was great food and a fantastic day.
A must see while in Marakesh

Great transportation, knowledgeable guide and good transition from an activity to the other, without dead time or rushing.

Great day at Ouzoud!

Our tour guide Ibhrahim was excellent. Allowed us to explore and had good humour will all of our English speaking group. Time spent visiting the Berber house and argan making facility were really interesting. The waterfalls themselves were impressive, would certainly recommend paying 20 Durham for the short boat ride to get up close; you can also jump into the water if you want! There’s a short hike back up before visiting the wild monkeys which is a bit rushed, we’d have liked a bit more time here but there are a lot of hagglers trying to sell peanuts, etc. Lunch was good at 100d per person for a set menu of water, couscous, chicken skewers, salad and fruit. Drive there and back was fine, air conditioned and driver was friendly with one short stop each way to use the toilet and buy snacks. Would recommend!
Feeding the monkeys

Really good day out, our guide was great and spoke really good English which helped, it's a long drive but you get a pit stop just over half way. The waterfalls was a great experience, as were the monkeys. We didn't feel hassled to buy anything from the many stalls around but it would have been nice if we had some time to stop and look at them a bit more while walking around. The cafe was great, food was amazing for the price (100 dirham) which included bread, salad, a choice of main, fruit and bottled water. Overall a really good day, very informative and we would definitely recommend 🙂
Just okay

It's a long 3 hour drive there and back and I had the misfortune of getting a seat in the back of the minivan where there really isn't enough room for comfortable seating. Our guide, Ibrahim, was fantastic but overall the tour is short and very touristy. The falls were not as interesting as I expected and the lunch was overpriced at 100 dh. The climb up the stairs to the top of the falls is challenging for a senior like me; this should be mentioned on the website.
spectacular waterfall and feeding monkeys

would highly recommend, good value for money trip.we were collected early and taken from marrakesh to ouzed falls (approx 3 hrs) we stopped for a break on way and on way back.some level of fitness required as there is some walking and steep steps. After seeing the waterfall and going in the boat across the bottom of the falls (approx £2 extra) we then visited a traditional berber house and fed the monkeys that live near the waterfall.at the end our very good guide ibraham took us to a cafe nearby for a meal (approx £8 extra) there was a meat option chicken skewers and vegetable cous cous or vegetable tangine and cous cous ,the meal included salad ,bread and bottled water.

Fantastic experience

This was a fantastic trip overall. What a steal for the price. Pick up was on time. You meet Ibrahim at the drop off spot. His English is fantastic and he has a good energy about him. He's clearly been doing this for a while. I have to assume many of the jokes he's been telling for some time, but he's entertaining and knowledgable about both the falls and the area surrounding it. He explains a little info about the Berbers and takes you to a shop where you can buy argan oil, but there was absolutely no pressure to buy anything, which was nice. The monkeys were a nice unanticipated highlight of the trip. Ibrahim showed that it's pretty easy to get them to jump onto your back for a cool picture with the help of some peanuts. Ibrahim also shows you several good spots to take pics of the waterfall. You then climb down to it, and up the other side of it. At the waterfall you have the option of a 20 minute ride up close to the waterfall if you want, which everyone typically does (seriously it's only 20 MAD aka 2 USD, so why wouldn't you), and the raft operators offer to take your picture for you as well. Lunch was your typical 75-100 MAD (about 8-10 USD) meal that included a starter and a main dish. Fries were given for free as well. Tea was included. Overall a fantastic experience, and well worth the money.
