Although this was a 14 hour tour with several small stops before the glacier lagoon it was well worth it. The glacier lagoon is beautiful and something to see. On the way to the lagoon we stopped to see a waterfall and Get lunch. we stopped to see another waterfall On the way back and for food.

It was absolutely amazing. We were very lucky and it was a beautiful clear skies day, sunny and not too cold! The Glacier Lagoon is a must see, please do yourself a favor and don't miss the chance to see it!

Great tour. It was a really long day but the tour guide was a stand up guy. I can’t empasize enough for how stunning Glacier Bay was. Make sure you take a small trek to Diamond Beach close by—it’s breathtaking

A long day, but worth the price of admission. You can't beat riding in the glacier water and seeing the Glacier Lagoon. Two waterfalls and the black beach. Postcard pics and worth every penny!

Very long day!! The waterfalls and the glacier lagoon were fabulous. I suggest you pack something to eat. The stop in Vik had terrible service and food. Walking behind the waterfall was treacherous. We did it but once you start there is no going back. Loved the tour but expect a long day.

As many others have said, it was a long day, but if you are prepared for that, it is not a problem. Since it stays light for so long, it really didn't matter that we saw the last waterfall about 6pm and arrived back at our hotel around 9:30pm. Being at the waterfall so late actually got us the best photos - a rainbow over the waterfall because of the alignment of the sun. Rest stops were good, but bringing your own food is maybe even better. Guide was great, and he was relatively new at this gig. We had a few slow pokes in the group, and he dealt with them very effectively. Communication with BusTravel could have been better. I had no way of contacting them by phone once we got to Iceland, and I wanted to confirm pickup time and location. I contacted them by email more than 24 hours ahead of the tour, and I NEVER heard back from them. I know that summer is a busy time, but if they want to stay in business, they need to improve their communication with their customers. They are not the only ones needing improvement, as the same thing happened with Arctic Adventures and I have yet to hear from them. Details matter, and both companies need to make improvements in this area.

Glacier lagoon is what made the Iceland trip so special! Its a once in a life time experience and it was such a great yet long day, would do it over and over again! Our guide Frosty was extremely knowledgeable and I learnt more on this trip than I did in the past few days in Iceland, about everything concerning Icelandic life: geology, history, current affairs, way of life etc. Its worth taking a boat in the lagoon, although the walk to the black sand beach can also offer unique icebergs encounters if you are on a budget. Highly recommend this trip! Worth every !!
