Excellent food, with an amazing host!

Mr.Lee was a fun and informative host. The walk was beautiful and the conversation was interesting. There was so much yummy food!
Tour guide had very little knowledge of street food and no story to tell. Too much history and culture tour and not enough street food, poorly designed. We had to tell her where we wanted to go in the end. No introduction to start tour. Not recommended.
We've done these food tours in several countries now and they're usually a real highlight for us. This one was fine, but not great. Korean food is so varied and we thought that having our own foodie interpreter would make for a spectacular evening, but there was a lot of walking between some not very interesting stops. Also, I understand the tension with Japan, but one member of our group was Japanese and had to listen to a lot of anti-Japanese comments that weren't relevant to a street food tour!
A great night out. We wandered through alleys trying local food as we went including lots of street food. Our guide also took us to historical sites and explained the Korean culture and association with their food. Our night ended at a BBQ house with fabulous pork on the grill. Highly recommend, Shane went out of his way to make sure we understood exactly what we were eating
Great tour with Jamie! We had delicious Korean BBQ pork belly. It was so good!! Jamie also walked us around Insa-dong and bought us lots of street food treats. It was a very nice way to spend the evening.
This is a great tour to learn more about Korean history, while sampling traditional Korean food, and strolling through remarkable and romantic spots. Shane, our tour guide had a wealth of knowledge about all things Korean. He showed us how koreans eat korean bbqs, helped us take a ton of cute pictures of us, gave us a lot of background insights while strolling through the different neighborhoods, took us to an authentic, non touristy bbq place for bbq, a stroll along the river which was lit up with lights and really nice, to this shopping center that was very unique, and this unfrequented temple one of the best parts of the tour - amazingly beautiful, showed us historical relics from the Joseon Dynasty and much more. It was a lot of fun and I'm grateful to Shane for showing us a lot of places that were very local and we would have not known about or discovered otherwise.:D
My tour guide Shane is friendly and caring. He is very knowledgeable about the history of the area. Walking around Sejong-daero and Insa-dong area. I have tried many tasty local food, chicken skewer, hot dog... The pork ribs and rice wine are the best!!! After that, walked along the Cheonggyecheon small stream which was super pretty at night!
