Cairns : journée dans la forêt pluviale de Daintree, à la réserve naturelle de Port Douglas et au cap Tribulation

Tout était parfait, très bonne organisation et plein de belles choses à voir. Nous recommandons ce tour.

journée agréable a flaner...et profiter de la nature

Excursion sympa, visite d'un parc animalier avec kangourou en liberté, cap tribulation et sa forêt humide. Peut être un peu trop de trajet. Les amoureux de la nature peuvent aussi prévoir de rester dormir une nuit sur l’île.

Nice, easy walk in the rain forest, the guide was very passionate and knowledgeable ! We would have loved to see the zombie ants, but there were none on that day .

Everything was fun and interesting, but was also very rushed and not enough time at all of the locations.

The driver picked us up an hour after our pick up time. One driver picks up all over town. The wildlife sanctuary was excellent. The walk in the forest was in a native led area, with a short hike along the River. It was a long drive to Cape Tribulation, but lunch was excellent. The beach is great. The river trip was short with 1 sighting of a croc. Long drive back to Cairns.

Von den insgesamt etwa 10 Stunden, die man auf dieser Fahrt unterwegs ist, sind etwa 4-5 Stunden tatsächliches Programm, der Rest ist aufgrund der großen Strecke reine Busfahrerei. Auf dem Hinweg wurde vom Fahrer viel Interessantes erzählt, das ging ganz gut, die Rückfahrt war quälend lang. Vor allem weil die Beinfreiheit im Bus auch relativ klein war.Fazit: kann man machen, man sieht viel Schönes, ist aber kein Muss!

This was one of the trips I was very much looking forward to, but, frankly, it didn't feel nearly as exciting as the description on Viator. The rainforest walk, which I was so looking forward to, was a 1/2hr walk down a boardwalk and a well-traveled short path. Every time anyone got one foot off the path, we were told to get back on the path to avoid liability issues in case someone got hurt. The beach was picturesque, though swimming was out of the question. Perhaps the best part of the trip was the riverboat ride spotting crocs and wild birds. The rest of it was a whole lotta driving. Our driver was knowledgeable and a good guide, but overall, the trip wasn't what I was expecting.
