The supplier states that the guide picked you up promptly and offered you the Abra Dubai Creek Boat Cross but that you declined. The supplier admits that the Gold & Spice Souk had shops that were closed due to holiday but also stated that there were other shops open as well. The supplier also mentions that you had spent much more time than anticipated or intended at the Madinat Jumeirah and Dubai Marina stops as well.
In regards to the guide, the supplier has stated that they have never received a complaint about this particular guide and that his knowledge of Dubai and the UAE is endless and that he is a very experienced guide. They are also surprised to hear about the cigarette smoke complaint and apologize for this issue, claiming that they will make sure it never happens again.
