We saw a few bald eagles and some (harbor?) seals, but the orcas we saw were very far away. The Crew was very nice, professional and knowledgeable. We followed a pod or orcas for about 45-60 minutes but never got very close at all, and we were in a group or about 7-8 other tours. A bit disappointing.
Although the captain and crew were very nice, the trip was very expensive for what you got. It was a long bouncing boat ride to see a few whales from a big distance. I have been on several whale watching trips in Cape Cod and Alaska that were a lot less expensive and we got much closer and saw many big whales as well as killer whales in Alaska. From what the crew said, this was a normal amount of sightings. Not worth it - wouldn't recommend
Tourguides were very friendly, flexible and knowledgeable. The boat is fast and new, the water/countryside beautiful. I advise everyone to bring windproof clothing. All in all it was a wonderful day which all 4 of us enjoyed tremendously.
