This was a brilliant half day tour which the four of us thoroughly enjoyed.
Mohammed picked us up from our hotel promptly and we drove in a comfortable, air-conditioned car around Agadir. Mohammed provided excellent local knowledge and we were able to slowly get our bearings. We did our tour on a Monday which meant the souk was closed so bear that in mind. Mohammed does take you to a artisan market and to a women's co-operative that produces Argan oil products. These products are reasonably priced and we were able to pay with a credit card but please note some only take cash, so ask before you go on a tour. We were taken to some of the main sites of the city and given an opportunity to stroll around. When you go to the fort expect some haggling but do not take a baby goat if handed one, as I did! This can turn into a photo shoot and you may have to part with some Dirhams, no more than 20DHS we suggest. Lots of opportunities for photos, and a good way to get your bearings and understand a little of the history and culture of the city. Ask questions, Mohammed is very knowledgeable and pleased to help and provide information. We had a super day!
We were collected from our hotel promptly by Mohammed and driven as a couple in a comfortable vehicle through the most amazing country-side and landscape on our way to Essaouira. Mohammed is an excellent guide with good local knowledge, and there is nothing he won't try and help you with. The journey is 3 hours long so you should take the break as suggested by Mohammed and have a coffee or tea and use the bathroom. On arriving in Essaouira, we were taken to the Medina and strolled around. This was very informal and as it was just the two of us we enjoyed this a lot. I would advise letting Mohammed know in advance what you'd like to see and this will enable him to plan your tour to suit you. The Medina has a variety of faces, some trendy and others old-world and hectic. Choose wisely. We had lunch in a very good restaurant by the sea, where we had fish which was cooked beautifully. We had to leave early as we had another engagement in Agadir but this tour does offer you a chance to carry on in the Medina and the city after lunch. We would happily do any tour with Mohammed as he is laid back, friendly and knowledgeable.
Very nice trip along the beautiful Atlantic coast of Morroco from Agadir to Essaouira historically Mogadur. A place to be because of its fish port, the souk market and the old castle.
Interesting round trip through the city of Agadir castle, mosque, souk, good guide
Basically not really as discrived. This is a transport taxi that take you to places and you go on your own. The down as that they did not took as to the port as mentioned on the details.
booked in french, but the rest of the bus very uncomfortable bus ,not a cm place to put my kneeswere German tourists, and the guide was more into italian and french which you could hear by his german! But I must say that the tour was well organized, we saw the most of Agadir you can see in 4 hours...only the stop @ an Argan product-shop was a bit too touristic in my opinion... the local market we visited was amazing, not a typical tourist-market...worse the stop, By the way, if you ever book this trip from a cruise ship, don't look for a viator/tripadvisor sign...they only show the sign from the local organisation, some of the other tourists looked a long time until they found the guide!
Our guide was a taxi driver. He show us Agadir in the way you wouldn't be able to see yourself. It was very interesting but nothing excited.
Our driver was absolutely fantastic. We had a nice relaxing tour and we asked not to see the argan oil production it's the same process everywhere tbh we had more time to kill around the souks! Really great tour!
