Vue d'ensemble

The tour is amazing. Terrific guidance, delicious food, fun and reveals special places one would never visit on his own (with Michalin stars!). Very recommend.

This half day tour far exceeded our expectations both in the information we learned and the food and places we visited. It was a wonderful fast paced tour with never a dull moment. We loved the three different restaurants we went to as they epitomized Hong Kong food in three very different ways. All the food was delicious and the experience at each place was different and amazing. In addition, as we walked from place to place our guide, Richard, explained a lot about the area, Chinese medicine and herbs and the different exotic things we saw in each window. This was one of the best tours we have taken in Hong Kong. We highly recommend it. Don't miss it!

It's been a while back. But it was a great tour.
I especially remeber the wonton soup and the char sui.

I would do this tour again when i am in Hongkong.

This was a great tour with an easy pace. We got to enjoy many different types of food with the local folks It was great! The guide made sure we had plenty of food to try and it was all good. Which I had more time to try different establishments food,
Highly recommend this tour. With the small group, when we all arrived, we started early instead of waiting for the right time to leave, The tour guide could answer all of the questions the group asked.

Nicole was a great tour guide and it was great she chatted to everyone in the group and gave different recommendations for what to see, do and try. For a small group food tour I actually thought the group was too big which made it hard to hear what she was saying at times. The tour also felt slightly too rushed and thought we would have had more food for the price that we paid.

I had the best time during this food tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting -- or even living in -- HK. I was lucky to have Mel, a Hong Kong native, as my guide. He was extremely informative, both about the food we sampled and the culture and history of Hong Kong. We had more than enough great things to eat, ranging from savory to sweet, over the course of the day. This included delicious dim sum, noodles, egg tarts, milk tea, and barbecued pork. I've been on food tours in the U.S. where you're given just a tiny taste of each item, but this wasn't the case here: we got full-sized portions at each stop! While that might seem like a lot, there was also plenty of walking over the course of the four hours, so I was never uncomfortably full. I have already recommended this to friends and loved ones who will be in town, and I would recommend it to anyone else with a strong appetite and a hunger for knowledge forgive the pun! I'll also note that my boyfriend couldn't join me for the tour, but it actually worked out great, as everyone in the group that day was flying solo. This is something you could definitely do with a friend/partner or on your own.

This was an awesome tour! The information we were sent after booking gave all the details we needed in order to meet our guide. Our guide was Nicole and our group was a great size at just 9 of us. Nicole made the tour really fun, giving us lots of information on the areas we visited, local culture and of course the food we tried. Talking of food, it was delicious!! The info pack recommends not to eat breakfast, which is good advice as we got to eat so much!! There is some walking involved, up some short hills and steps so make sure you're comfortable with walking prior to booking. But the walking part is great as you get to walk through various markets and look at local shops. Having completed the tour, we found we had more confidence to chose to eat at local places and try new foods.
