Tour was NOT exciting as there is no much to see in Seattle. I was expecting much more, however even thought I am photo enthusiast I have taken only few as there was really not much to see except the Glass Garden and the Needle of course.
I am usually a big fan of Viator tours, but this one was a huge disappointment! We had a terrible time locating one of the bus stops so we could start the tour. There should be a downloadable map on the website and better instructions. The stops were poorly marked and we didnt know what kind of sign we were looking for. By the time we finally got started, we only had time for about half the tour before they cut it off at 4:00, which is way too early.
EASY and Casual! We used our TWO day pass to navigate the sites and streets of Seattle. Thus, avoiding the cost of the metro transportation system. An additional bonus was a festival in progress over the weekend in China town! The weather was fantastic---no rain! Our enclosed two layered double deck bus had a great A/C system which was a welcome respite from the usual uncovered ones. We were pleasantly surprised on what there is to see and do in Seattle. Con: 10-4 daily!
I highly recommend the 2- day HOP ON/Off pass!
The bus was very comfortable and audio information that looped during the drive was interesting, but I wouldn't pay to do this tour again. The tour only runs during a six-hour window and with Seattle traffic, we were only able to hop on and off two times. At our two stops we waited 30 minutes for the bus to arrive--time that we could have spent at a site or walking to the next site. For those who are able, Seattle is very doable by walking from place to place. I would not recommend this tour.
Love using these tours as it's the best way to explore a city. I unfortunately didn't get to start mine until the afternoon due to another tour in the morning so when I got off at pikes market place I only had half an hour to look around.
