Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre visite. Bien qu'il y ait une attente pour que votre photo soit prise, notre chauffeur Alit était super et est venu nous chercher tôt afin que nous ayons manqué la foule. Les lieux visités lors de la tournée sont magnifiques et Alit a répondu à toutes nos questions et a été très instructif sur l'histoire et la culture. Grande excursion d'une journée tout autour

The tour locations were excellent. We got an early start to be among the first people in the Gates of Heaven temple. Our driver, Kadek, was punctual and very attentive of our needs, doubling as a phtographer as well, and giving insights as to wat we were seeing. He even made an extra stop at our request for a Balinese coffee farm. All in all a great experience, would recommend for anyone travelling to Bali.

Me and my husband did the tour to Gate of Heaven and I honestly have no words to describe how amazing and beautiful it was. Gusti was our driver who made us feel safe, got coffee and snacks from Bali, and helped us taking photos at the places we went. Gusti was super friendly, kind and humble and made us feel like we were traveling with a new friend. The beauty of each one of the places we visited were outstanding and we made new incredible memories that I’ll never forget. It made me appreciate the culture and the people from Bali and fall in love with the architecture from the temples. We live in Miami Florida, so it’s a very long trip for us……. But I will definitely have to come back to visit other Bali magnificent spots. Thank you Gusti and Viator for such an amazing experience. Forever grateful. ilde Goncalves.
Too much time in van

Although both temples were interesting, it was a 2 hour drive to see them and 2 hours back…..in addition, it was an hour drive to lunch. So for the 8 hour day, approximately 5 hours were spent in the van. Not my idea of a pleasant “tour experience”. This could have been in part due to the location of our hotel (southern Bali) and the location of the temples (eastern Bali), however it still made for a long day of just sitting in the van.
Gates of Wow!!

We had a wonderful day visiting the 'Gates of Heaven' and it was entirely due to our guide Enawan. He was prompt, full of knowledge on Bali culture and religion which he shared with great enthusiasm. He got us there early and ran to the ticket booth to get us the best ticket (59) and then found us a wonderful breakfast and much needed Bali coffee. The Tirta Gangga Water Palace was fantastic and his skill with our phone camera created inventive and fantastic photos for us. Lunch at Wapa di Ume was wonderful and while the pool was closed he took us to sample luwak coffee. Enawan is an excellent guide who keeps his customers engaged with constant dialog. He is also adaptable in responding to customers interests, needs, and preferences. What a great guide and tour. 5 stars!
Best Eastern Tour Option!

Our driver Ngurah was amazing. He picked us up from our hotel and provided water and snacks for our early start (4am). We drove 2 hours to Lempuyang Temple where he filled us in on local information about each village we passed through. Upon arrival at the Gate of Heaven he ensured we made the most of our experience by recommending which order to take photos in, best times to see the sunrise on the volcano and even suggested poses for our pictures as we weren’t very creative. Ngurah was more than happy to be our photographer for the day while also providing history and detail of each location we visited throughout the day.

The 4.30am start was well worth it to get to the temple early and secure a spot so you don't have to wait hours for your photo. Then a short trip to the amazing Water Palace followed by a Balinise lunch and swim in remote resort overlooking rice paddies and a river. My guide Ngurah was fantastic answering all my questions and providing great service the whole day.

Amazing tour !!! Really worth it , our tour guide Murdock took amazing pictures. It is also very nice to be in a new car with the AC on. They take you to lunch in a beautiful hotel with delicious food and amazing view.

Despite having to get up so early for this tour it was well worth. It was an experience to see the sun rise at the gate of Heaven. We also went to other wonderful places. My guide was the best. He was very professional and knowledgeable about everything Bali. This tour should not be missed when in Bali.

So glad we didn't cancel this trip as we booked a month before we were due to be in Bali and weren't sure about the unpredictable jetlag (it's an early start!) and tour guides can be a tad awkward sometimes.....! SO GLAD WE DIDN'T CANCEL! This tour was amazing; we visited Lempuyang's Gate of Heaven which is a view to behold as well as being a spiritual place, followed by Tirta Gangga Water Palace and finished wonderfully with a visit to a resort next to Mt. Agung with an infinity pool and views that will take your breath away. This trip included lunch, pick up, drop off, but the best part? Gusti, our tour guide. A wealth of knowledge if you want to learn about the culture of Balinese people and made the trip so amazing thanks to his respectful, kind and fun nature. Highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Bali. Quick tip, if your tour guide says they're picking you up early, get yourself up. It can get very busy and you could be facing long queues. Gusti picked us up at 4:30am (I'm not a morning person and then throw in jetlag 😂) but it was more than worth it as we got to enjoy the day and we feel we very much made a friend in Gusti 😊

Our day started at 4.00am when Dangin collected us from our hotel. The vehicle was very clean and comfortable. We understand now why a 4.00am start is necessary as this destination is extremely popular. We were number 21 and there were hundreds of people behind us. The photographer was exceptionally good with my mobile (price included) and Dangin was exceptionally good with our camera. Water gardens are beautiful, and lunch was exceptional. I doubt that we could have got a better driver. Dangin was fun, safe and very knowledgeable. So glad we decided on this experience. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend our tour guide Ketut Wenda! Very knowledgeable, attentive, friendly, funny and an amazing person. He took us to the Coffee plantation, the rice fields, a temple and to a delicious lunch with stunning views. He took great pictures for us. Definitely book a tour with him.
A great day in E Bali with "flexible" Erawan!

This was a great private, all-inclusive, 9-hour tour day. Driver-guide Erawan was clear and helpful about expectations, beginning with the start time to complete the itinerary. He strongly recommended 0400 rather than the standard 0500. We, instead, changed objectives and started at 0600. We abandoned the "Gate" wait for the sunrise photo op as the event was insignificant to us - and, the weather suggested there wouldn't be a sunrise. We arrived at 0800 and the wait was over 2 hours and no sunrise. We chose another setting for our "moment," and we were just as happy, not sleep-deprived, and "richer" in remaining time. Erawan even treated us to cappuccinos on the mountain. Perhaps the highlight tour stop was lunch at the Sleeping Gajah at Wapa. Erawan had reminded us by message to bring swimwear - that we had somehow left behind. The restaurant is part of a luxury resort looking up to a ridge in the form of a sleeping elephant. Below the wide, covered dining deck of bamboo is the 2-tier infinity pool. (Don't forget your suits!) The resort is nestled on the side of a valley with picturesque creek at its bottom. The food and drink are as good as the setting - we tried mojitos many places in SE Asia, and these are the best. The Royal Waterpark gardens are another unique stop after days of temples. Erawan is an excellent guide who keeps his charges in constant dialog. He is also adaptable in responding to client interests, needs, and preferences. As active seniors, we greatly enjoyed the day's experiences with Erawan's driving and guide services (including a gift bag of bananas!).

Amazing solo tour with driver rio, amazing guy would recommend him 100%, will tell you about the history, the tradition of Indonesia ect along the way, a must to see the gate of heaven tour when in Bali.

This trip was amazing. We got to the gates of heaven first thing, and it was almost empty when we arrived. Gusti was my guide, and knew so much about the history of each place. He was incredibly patient and let me spend however long I wanted at each location. I would very much recommend booking this tour if you’re in Bali - you get to see a different part of the island, which is much more rural / agrarian. I’d definitely ask for Gusti - he is the best!
