In total, It was wonderful, comfortable, valuable tour for us thanks for guides Michelle and George.
Michelle cotacted me the day before to confirm the tour, reliefing me. And they came to our hotel on time.
I visited;
- Traditional perfumes and oils shop. The clerk of the shop explained and let us try various perfumes and oils, with welcome drink. We bought some of them for souvenir - they had 50ml bottles which I can bring to the flight.
- Papyrus center. An instructor explained how to make a paper and how the ancients used in Japanese! I didn't buy it, though there were various size of various pictures. I borrowed a toilet there.
- Cotton center. They provided various clothes of 100% good quality cotton. We bought scarf for following Camel ride, and some traditional clothes.
- Pyramids, Camel ride and sphinx
The guide bought tickets for us, and we just followed him. We take some photos, moved by the car to the other photo spot, taking some photo, including with the guides. Then, we rode camels, which the guide had booked. We enjoyed riding camels, taking photos. I paid some tips to the camel guide. After that, we returned to the front of Sphinx by car and took some photos. We didn't enter into the Pyramid.
- We took a lunch at the restaurant next to the pizzahat in front of Sphinx. The guide ordered foods for us, very smooth as I just pay for drinks.
- Bazar (souvenir shop)
We visited a small souvenir shop instead of Khan el-Khalili, which took lots of time, in order to spend more time at the museum. We bought only a small statue.
- Egyptian Museum
The guide bought tickets for us and we just followed him. He bring us to some must-watch items and explained.
After all they bring us to our hotel.
You might be a bit confused with going to some places which are not expected and you may need to buy something. However, I think the shops, where the guide brought us, were kind and valuable compared to visiting unfamiliar shops by myself. I'm very satisfied with my shoppings there.
Also, you may want to enter into the Pyramid, thinking the entrance fee included. We had thought so, but lost a feeling to enter the Pyramid and climb the stairs when we saw the so large Pyramid. If you really want to enter into the Pyramid and climb the stairs, you may confirm with the guide before buying tickets.
In total, we're really enjoyed and satisfied with the tour, and It should be valuable. The shops were safe and reasonable than the other shops, totally comfortable and smooth - I saw the guide giving tips sometimes instead of us, tips I paid was only for Camel ride.
