This excursion is really just a voucher for equipment rental at Paradise Seaside Grill. Google Paradise Seaside Grill Cayman, to find their website. The water park is not huge in size, but we had an enjoyable time snorkeling around for about 90 minutes. We could have snorkeled for as long as we wanted. I was amazed how close you could swim to the Tarpons. We thought the snorkeling here was better then the snorkeling we did on Cozumel at Chankanaab Beach Adventure Park. If we come back to Grand Cayman, we would do it again. The food at the restaurant is so-so. More like sustenance, than cuisine.
This tour is more for experienced snorkelers. The only instructions we received were for the snorkel equipment. Otherwise, we were literally thrown to the fishes---as there was a school of large fish surrounding us as we tried to get into the water. Another customer had to swim over to let us know that the fish were not harmful...because one could assume they were harmful based on the way they swooped in and circled around us. The steps leading into the water go from 3 ft deep to about 10ft without warning. If you're a beginner, go with another tour. There lots were seasoned swimmers/snorkelers and they seemed to be having a blast and reported beautiful sights in the water. Plus there's a huge raft that you can swim to and sit on---there's room for at least 10 people.
Excursion was easy to walk to from the ship port. Was a little cheaper at the facility than what I paid for on here but not that big of a deal. My wife and I had an awesome time and saw several different species of fish.
