One of the best Art Galleries we have visited, very easy to follow your way around. The paintings are spaced in a logical order. Highlights Renoir paintings, Claude Monet through to the modern art of Andy Warhol.

A wonderful place to spend a day, or two!

This was wonderful. In particular I'm an interior designer, and there was a large number of furniture pieces from different periods.

We have been to a number of the best museums around the world and this museum definitely ranks amongst them. The quality of the exhibits was stunning. You could spend days in this museum and not see everything. Having the tickets in advance so there was no waiting in line was an added bonus.

Our tour of the Art Institute of Chicago was amazing !! a must see spot in Chicago for all who appreciate fine art !!

Love the museum but there was no,discount in buying the tickets in advance through trip advisor.

So good we had to go twice! Just a comment about Viator tickets - they got us some money off, but we still had to queue, so if time is more of a factor than money, book direct on the gallery website. However, the queue was a lot less 20 mins after opening time.

The AIC is amazing with the largest collection of impressionist painting outside the Louvre in Paris....I loved it. I have given only one star because there is no advantage to pre-purchasing a ticket, The Institute considers it to be a third party voucher and therefore you have to queue with everyone else - it doesn't fast track your entry in any way.

The Art Institute of Chicago is everything it is advertised. It is very crowed so patiance is necessary but it is all there.
