Ne voulant asolument pas coduire à gauche, nous avons choisi cette excursion qui était très proche d'un road trip en voiture individuelle:petit groupe,disponibilité et extrême gentillesse du chauffeur/guide qui n'a , à aucun moment manqué de nous narrer des anecdotes historiques se rapportant aux sites visités.Découvertes de site insolites ou nous ne serions peut-être pas allés en individuel.A recommander! paysages magnifiques, dépaysement assuré malgré une météo capricieuse.
Our trip was a great experience. It exceeded our expectations. We traveled from Edinburgh to Inverness, while stopping along the way Stirling, Callender, Glencoe, Loch Ness, Culloden, Aviemore, Pitlochry. Our guide, Kim, was absolutely perfect. She obviously loves her country, and she told us about its history with much details and patience. She was also really nice with us, and had a great sense of humour. So of course we recommend that trip ! I very much hope now that I will come back to Scotland, to discover more of the Highlands. Thank you so much, Kim ! Victoria and François France, Paris
correct trip but a bit disappointing. We though being able to see some and quot;postcards and quot; of scotland and instead we had a first day with a lot of motorways and stop in small villages. 2nd day was a bit better but too many stops for breaks ( coffee, toilets) while we missed to stop where we can have enjoyed nice sceneries of sctoland with some castles, green landscapes and sheeps. at the end disappointing and we did get the memories and pictures we expected
It was my first visit to Scotland and my time is limited. The two-day small group tour of Rabbie's to Loch Ness and Inverness was therefore a perfect way see some parts of the highlands and places outside of Edinburgh. It was raining and windy but these didn't deter the group from enjoying the tour. The group was small so that made interaction with other guests and the guide manageable. Didn't have time though to explore Inverness as we arrived in the city around 6:00pm. Keith our guide was great, conversant and knowledgeable about Scotland's history and current affairs. He is also quick-witted, funny at times, and played a mix of Scottish and contemporary music and these helped during the long drives. The B and B accommodation (Pine Guest House) and hostess (Angela) were also great. Room was comfortable with bathroom, queen bed, cable TV, electric pot, coffee, tea and biscuit, plus the traditional Scottish breakfast was delicious. The place is also across a supermarket, which was great for late shopping.
Sharon (Tour Guide) made each mile along the tour memorable through sharing lots of history on the areas and items seen. It was truly a valuable tour of th Highlands and Lowlands up to Inverness and Edinburgh. Lovely off the path stops to tak in local scenes of history, rivers, waterfalls, and heartwarming people to meet. Thanks Rabbi and Sharon for making My 47th birthday trip a blast. Definitely recommend if you're looking to get a taste of Scotland. As goes with all tours there's never enough time, but our guide was amazing and funny. Highly recommend Ciaran as your guide. He was full of information and friendly. Since all of us made it back in time from each stop we had some spare time and Ciaran even squeezed in an extra stop along the way. Talk to the locals when you can and don't be afraid to ask questions!
