On peut s'attendre à une très longue journée mais ça vaut vraiment le coup. Notre chauffeur et guide Gabe, était fantastique. Nous avons eu la chance de l'avoir et je soupçonne qu'il est l'un de leurs meilleurs. Il était drôle, serviable et instructif et a également mis tous ses invités en premier. De nombreux sites magnifiques en cours de route. La croisière était pleine de vues magnifiques sur les cascades, les cascades et les cascades! La nourriture servie sur la croisière était tout simplement ""OK"". Probablement la seule déception. Dans l'ensemble, c'était un très bon moment et recommandé. Merci beaucoup Gabe!

Our driver was very knowledgeable and funny. The 13-hour trip went by fast. The scenery was incredible and everything was a WOW! Loved the 2 hour cruise at Milford Sound. The buffet was good. We had a lot of stops and bathroom breaks. The Mirror Lakes was beautiful and gorgeous!
Milford Sound experience great but could be improved

The coach ride in with Brad (??name?) was wonderful. He was informative, entertaining, amazingly educated about the area, history, folklore and made several stops for photos and breaks. On the way out he even showed one of our all-time favorite movies. So he was a tough act to follow, which the ship captain failed at. He imparted very little info about the Sound, and what he did impart was pretty impossible to hear. My suggestion is that you prerecord info and play it on excellent equipment in several languages. There were French and Japanese people aboard. This would increase safety as he wouldn’t be distracted by having to narrate and would greatly improve the guest experience. Oh, and the food could be improved including more vegetarian options.

The coach driver to the sound was extremely informative about the areas we went through on the journey Milford sound spectacular scenery but apart from three seals and birds no other wildlife . The penguins arrive a bit later in the year we were told However just unlucky Enjoyed the whole day tremendously

Been driven down from Queenstown allows you to relax and enjoy the view. The cruise was excellent . The driver and the crew on the boat were all very profesional and welcoming.

We were picked up from our hotel at 6.45am and dropped off at 8.00pm. A very very long day and not worth it. My husband and I had to sit in separate seats as we were the last to be picked up. My poor husband was stuck in the back corner of the coach with 4 teenage boys 5 hours there and 5 back. The scenery on the way was quite beautiful however Milford Sound was OK. There is much better scenery in other places in New Zealand. If you can afford to fly to Milford Sound, that would be the better option. The lunch on the Ferry was quite ordinary. If I could go back in time, I would not have done this excursion.

Brad our bus driver was just the best. So informative of our trip to the sounds and an amazing driver felt very safe with him. Our day was very wet but it was still amazing. The food was delicious as well. So worth every Penny and minute. Thanks Brad

Informative coach tour with a few brief stops for relax and some photo opportunities. Background scenerys were awesome. Cool boat cruise, with a much needed, satisfying buffet lunch as we got under way. Lots of room on-board for many people and the waterfall and landscape views were breathtaking. For us this was a wonderful day and experience and well worth the price.

The views were breathtaking, the buffet lunch was excellent. We were lucky with the weather in getting a full two hour window of sun and cloud on the boat between heavy rain. Beautiful waterfalls and sunshine.

The Milford Sound Coach and Cruise with Southern Discovery was excellent. Shailendra was an excellent driver and tour guide for our trip. He helped to explain the sites we were seeing, the towns we were passing through and even the nature/ecology of the region. The drive was nicely broken up with stops for breaks and site seeing along the trip. The cruise on the sound was great, the pilot was able to spot dolphins in the sound and managed to make a loop around to let everyone get many chances to see the dolphins. The buffet meal was tasty (especially after about 4 hours on the road to the sound).
