Picking through all of the food options in Galway can be exhausting, so let John, your guide, show off some nice spots, recall interesting history, and immerse you in Irish culture, all while indulging in delicious traditional Irish foods and locally brewed beers.

Great Tour/Night out! John, our guide for the night was warm and full of knowledge. It felt like we were hanging out with a very knowledgeable local friend. The choice of food and drink on the tour was delicious and the portions were full meals not just tasters. A hearty portion of Lamb stew, croquettes, salmon on soda bread in the first stop paired with a local beer, fish and chips with a side salad also paired with a local beer on the second and a platter of Irish cheese ending with Irish coffee on the third stop. So we definitely did not walk home hungry. The walking portion of the tour was an easy and relaxed stroll even for my two elderly companions who were initially worried about the amount of walking and the rain. Certainly a must do when in Galway.

John made our day in Galway!! He was knowledgable, personable, informative and fun! He had stories of folklore and history. He was patient with all of our questions and share local insight. We could not have picked a better way to get to know the city. Id highly recommend John and rehab Galway Food and Drink Tour. To make it even better, he thought us how to play the Bodhrán.

John, our tour guide was like visiting with a long lost friend. There was a chemistry between him and us right away. The local food was yummy......fish and chips, smoked salmon and a softball size of food that John said could be Irelands answer for corned beef and cabbage.....it was very tasty. Also had a lamb stew that was very good. My husband has never cared for Guinness, but we had it on draft and hubs, John, really liked it.....so did I. We had Irish coffee made with Irish whiskey not Baileys Irish Creme and it was good to the last drop. John Tourguide showed us some off the beaten path places and was so very knowledgeable about his fair city, Galway. Loved the tour, the food, the city and John Tourguide! Would recommend and do again if we could have John!

This was a wonderful way to see Galway. John was so knowledgeable about Irish history, Galway, and food. The three restaurants/pubs were charming. The food was excellent and typical Irish food. He recommended restaurants for the rest of our stay that worked out great. Highly recommend.

Great Tour. John took us to three pubs and we have 3 wonderful authentic Irish meals, delicious beers and Irish whiskey. With each change of venue he took us on a walking tour of Galway. We had a great time!
