Ce voyage en hélicoptère — au cœur de la région de l'Everest — est incroyable. Une expérience de vie. Un souvenir, souvent exagéré, mais vraiment pas comme les autres. Va. Dépensez l'argent. Le temps était superbe. C'était sûr. Buddhi est un excellent guide touristique. Les vues en hélicoptère sont extraordinaires, et les décors : des petits villages, des monastères, des stupas bouddhistes, des montagnes immenses, des neiges d'un blanc pur, des cieux bleus ? Ils vous hanteront pour toujours.

Ce fut une expérience fantastique! Était-ce cher? Tu paries. Cela en valait-il la peine? 100%! Voler à travers les vallées et voir les sommets enneigés était incroyable. Je pourrais continuer encore et encore sur les bons moments que j'ai passés ou vous pouvez simplement essayer vous-même! Le voyagiste, Buddhi, a été très réactif. Je recommanderais cette opportunité. Vous n'atterrissez pas au camp de base, mais vous atterrissez du côté où l'on a de toute façon une meilleure vue sur la montagne. L'altitude me toucha un peu: je me sentais étourdi et vis quelques étoiles comme si je venais d'hyperventiler. Cependant, l'excitation de tout cela permet d'ignorer facilement ces symptômes :-D

As a seasoned traveler, this was one of the most incredible experiences I have ever had in my life. The guide was so helpful and even arrived the day before to help me find a coat! The views were unlike anything I have ever seen and the breakfast was so delicious. If you choose to only do one thing in Nepal, choose this!

Tour of a lifetime

This was the trip of a lifetime! The tour was very well coordinated and they were in frequent contact via texting prior to pick up. They picked my wife and I up at our hotel right on time. After passing through airport security, we and the other 3 people on the flight were taken to the helicopter where we met our pilot. He was a jovial fellow and put us all at ease about the flight. The flight itself was exhilarating. We flew through rugged valleys where we saw mountain top villages, temples and monasteries and plenty of snow-capped peaks. The rest of the tour was spent taking pictures at the base camp area, exploring a landing zone where we saw a group of yaks wandering by and breakfast at the Hotel Everest View, all of which were exciting and memorable. We both thoroughly enjoyed the tour and think it was well worth the money and time.

Once-in-a-lifetime views!

We waffled for a few days before actually booking this, as it is an expensive experience. We are so glad we did it, and it was worth every penny!
The entire trip was unforgettable. There are several landings: at Lukla to offload unneeded weight (if you know anything about flying/landing small planes, seeing Lukla is an experience all its own!); a small area down the mountain from Kala Patthar where the group splits into two groups for the flight up (one group waits in the field by the stream and the other goes up); Kala Patthar, where you have an amazing view of Everest and the surrounding mountains (I definitely felt the altitude here); back at the field where you switch with the other group; at Hotel Everest View, where you can eat breakfast with a gorgeous view of Everest and the surrounding mountains; back to Lukla for enough fuel to make it back to Kathmandu; and then back to Kathmandu.
Our pilots were professional, skilled, and friendly. The ground staff were all friendly and helpful.
I honestly can't believe I considered not doing this. If you have the means, just book the experience. You won't regret it. And it's even better if you have some knowledge of general/commercial aviation.

The highlight of my trip to Nepal.

Absolutely amazing experience. I would have happily paid more. The trip there is about an hour and very scenic, especially the parts after the stop at Lukla. A lot of people complained about the breakfast in reviews, and yeah it’s pricy for what you get, but you’re paying for the view and it’s worth it. Be sure to bring cash, they take credit card but it processes very slow. Aside for an amazing trip, the staff was amazing. Very professionally organized and handled and out pilot was amazing. She was obviously prioritizing flying the helicopter, but she went out of her way to tell us stories about the area and history. Fantastic trip.
