Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. I learnt a lot through them and I’d recommend it to anyone who’s interested in that part of the history.
Very informative

Our guide, Cornelia (Conni), was well informed and shared her wealth of knowledge about the history and horrors of the Dachau camp. She was very respectful without glossing over the seriousness of what happened at the camp.
Great tour guide

Everything was well organized. The guide was sensitive to the subject and very knowledgeable. A good way to learn about this sad and overwhelming time.
Dachau - a must see

This tour, whilst very educational was a somber one purely because it’s real and you see the atrocity that occurred within. It’s a real eye opener but honestly, a must see. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and we learnt quite a lot from him. My only suggestion would be to perhaps identify the group some how. We actually lost our group and there was panic as we tried to find them. Because our guide was so knowledgeable, we had ‘randoms’ joining our group which of course throws headcount ... 6 of us were separated as a result. If we had say lanyards or similar, it would be easy for the guide to recognise his or her group without the ‘randoms’. Just a suggestion of course but beside that ... it’s a place that needs to continue to be preserved and an absolute must see

Visiting a concentration camp is an emotionally hard thing to add into a vacation. I was glad we were with a tour guide, to tell us specific details and stories. I do wish we had time in the museum to see the exhibits, but we did walk through it and stop at specific parts to discuss. You learn about the early days of the camp and what happened as it evolved, see the museum (which was the processing center, among other things), the jail, the rebuilt barracks, and the crematorium. There are still original portions of the camp, including some of the buildings and the fence. Our guide was knowledgeable and helped a fairly large group navigate the train and bus to the camp.
Great to go with a guide.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Answered all of our questions. It was a little rushed through the museum. Would have been nice to have a few minutes to read the boards

Ulrich was fantastic. Was clearly very well versed in Dachau and the surrounding areas and had a very friendly demeanour. He kept the mood of the tour Group interested and upbeat which for visiting a concentration camp was appreciated. Really good experience as a solo traveller but equally enjoyed by the groups in attendance. Thank you Ulrich.
Group of 30 makes it crowded...

Our tour guide was Werner - this is my 2nd tour and I only did it via Viator since I was traveling with my friend. Thought that he would get more insight by having a 'professional' tour guide. This was way wrong - Werner spent too much time explaining political points of views and even missed MAJOR points. For example, we had zero time in the museum. Also the important statue in from of the crematorium was totally missed and not even explained. Last time - next time I can do better on my own. Simply take the S2 train to Dachau and jump on the bus. Get a self tour headset and GO!

Really enjoyed the trip from Munich to Dachau for the 1/2 day trip. Train ride was uneventful. Bus ride was a little packed but manageable since it was such a short distance. Alek was a great tour guide! He was so personable and knowledgeable about the subject matter. Happy to have included this tour on our vacation.
Excellent tour

Our tour of Dachau was everything we hoped it would be. Our tour guide, Alex, was friendly, so personable and extremely knowledgable. He was excellent at guiding us to train and bus in an orderly fashion and the knowledge he imparted was what we hoped to learn. He was able to choose the exibits already within the Museum to highlight the most important facts. It was an experience worth the fee.
