Profitez d'une excursion personnalisée dans le centre-ville historique de Bogotá et découvrez les lieux les plus importants et leur histoire. Visitez Monserrate et le quartier de La Candelaria avec un excellent guide local !
This is a great tour for anyone wanting to visit some of the must see sights in Bogota. The guide was timely, friendly, and knowledgeable. The guide goes out of jer way to make sure you have a true Colombian experience. This tour is a must!
GREAT way to spend my first day in Bogota. The views from Monserrate were gorgeous, and our long walk around Bogota was lovely - weather cooperated beautifully. Wear comfy shoes, the walking part wore me out! Got little snacks along the way instead of one big meal, which I really liked. Cheesy hot chocolate, empanadas, etc. Zero complaints, thanks for a great tour!
What a fantastic- must do tour of Bogota. Lena sp? was amazing and went out of her way to customize the tour per our interests while making sure we stayed on track for the scheduled visits. She was just a wealth of local info- and a lot of fun to be with!. Ask her to take you to the restaurant for hot chocolate with cheese!!!!!!
This tour was beyond expectation. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. One can always walk around a city and see the sites but when you are with a guide on a personal tour you really learn more about the culture, history and country. I highly recommend this tour!
I was the only one on this tour. The guide was great! It was a personalized tour. She explained everything so well, and was really nice. I have learn so much about Bogota. I really recommend this tour.
Monserrate was nice, fantastic views of the city, lots of beautiful flowers up top. La Candelaria was a bit underwhelming, this historic area has been allowed to fall into terrible condition, but fortunately it looks like it's being restored now. I did like when we stopped for a minute in a small local bar popular among students to try some chicha, which was tasty. The neighborhood itself lacks the requisite richness in history and detail to be interesting on its own. I'd recommend trying to find specific historical figures and stories to tell while walking through to make it more interesting similar to the tale of Bolivar being led out of his window by his mistress to avoid assassination--more of those. The Gold Museum was underwhelming, very repetitive with the same displays essentially being put up in a dozen or so rooms under the names of different ingenious tribes. Even most of the collection in the vault was kind of meh. The first section explaining how gold was mined and worked by these cultures was cool though. I did enjoy being taken to lunch at a popular local spot for some tasty ajiaco, that was nice.
I loved the tour! I learned a lot with my super knowledgeable tour guide who was very friendly. She shared her umbrella until I bought one and then it stopped raining, of course. Since it was a private tour, she let me stop everywhere I wanted to shop, look around, and take photos. I was able to pick the place where I wanted to have lunch.
