My driver was a bit late, which made me a little nervous. I was the only one left on the platform and was getting ready to call the number on the voucher when he appeared with a sign with my name on it. He didn't speak English, but he motioned to me to follow me around the side of the station to his parked taxi. We arrived at my hotel in good time. I used the service because the last time I arrived at the station there were people "helping" passengers with their luggage and then maneuvering them over to waiting taxis, which may or may not have been legitimate. Not knowing what to expect this time, I felt it was best to try the service. This time I didn't see anyone trying to be so helpful and no one approached me, so perhaps I was overly cautious. The driver had the meter running and the cost was much less than I had paid, but I chalked that up to paying for peace of mind. If you do some homework and know the names of the legitimate taxi companies, such as Fo, you should be okay. I had a lot of luggage and I didn't want to waste time so I used this service. If you don't have a lot of luggage, the Metro can be quite convenient. It now has automatic machines for buying various passes so you can get one when you arrive and travel the city quickly as you get your bearings.
Well not sure what happened but was glad we had a phone to call the company that had booked the shared transfer as the driver never showed. But on the bright side they did send a taxi to pick us up eventually and he was very nice and made sure I knew how to use the ATM without standing to close. He took us to our hotel straight away and life was good again.
