Visite au Spa Szechenyi, avec transfert depuis l'hôtel

Pick-up was on time. Did not encounter problems checking in at the spa, no line using my ticket.There was a young lady who assisted us to our cabin and explained the procedure. Highly recommended.

We were picked up on time and taken to spa. On presentation of voucher we were given lockers, thongs and water, lockers very small. I then remembered that our voucher included towels which was not given, so husband returned to the check in desk to get them. We were supposed to have been met by hostess but no was left to aimlessly find our way around. Finally we found our massage place after endlessly asking people where to go.
After having massages we enjoyed the thermal pools.
On completion it was a nightmare getting anyone to order a taxi to go back to hotel, finally a nice girl on th desk took pity on us and ordered one for us. Loved the pools but the organisation as put on website when purchasing the voucher was not there disappointing for two Aussies who had only arrived two days before.

We were picked up on time from our hotel the car was clean, suitable for 4 and the driver was polite. We arrived at the Spa 10am and were given wristbands which allows access to the turnstile/changing cabins. I must admit I did misread the email from Viator, you only get 1 option not all so you may wish to research your own transportation/entrance fee/towels etc etc. was it worth it for the ease of booking ? yes it was for us as first timers. However, if I return to Budapest then I would do my own booking. Note take your own towels not worth waiting 15 min in a queue, was rather strange to see people wandering in the spa with cans of beer ? hey ho I'm old school and was also put off by group of Brits smoking e cigs, even worse than the real stuff. Please ban it all, you are in a health spa ! Overall we had a fab morning, the cubicles were clean, hairdryers are basic, you could do this on a budget. Did not eat /have drinks there so cannot comment, looked basic to be honest. The weather was fab 18 degrees in Oct ! You really ought to go for the experience ...

The spa part was well organized and was a unique experience of Hungarian life. Unfortunately, I would warn people to be wary of the supposedly free pick up. Since the driver didn’t call at the ten o’clock pick up time I went outside and driver scammed us into believing that they were sent to pick

Really good Spa with a nice massage however it is VERY busy at this time of year.

Went like clockwork from our prompt, on-time, hotel, pick-up thru fast-track check-in at the Baths and being shown to our private cabins. Our chauffeur was courteous and most helpful especially when our host wasn't immediately there at the Spa entrance to greet us. We spent nearly 7 hours there, mainly relaxing in the area of the outdoor pools. My husband, as a serious swimmer, loved the 26 degrees middle pool NB be sure to take a hat for this one as a non-swimmer I was comforted by the 38 degrees of the nearest pool,. I also adored the Baroque architecture. Only slight disappointment apart from our young, male, host's somewhat casual attitude was our couples' Swedish massage which we paid extra for at the entrance: it cost only the going-rate for a massage but was nowhere near as good as those we have at our local FE college, with student masseurs, at home in the UK and which are a fraction of the regular cost. When we were ready to leave, the ladies at the fast track reception were exceptionally helpful in ensuring that we were met by the correct private car and not some scheister arranged with Viator at extra cost to take us on to our next venue.

This is definitely a unique experience, and we would do it again - but be prepared. Myself, my sister in law, 16 y.o. niece and 10 y.o. nephew went. We had prepaid for pickup up and spa entrance. After booking I was contacted via email for the pick up time, responded 10am. 10am came and went with no driver. Once I figured out how to call the number drop the 36 country code but dial 06 as calling from mobile and talked to a person, they sent a driver for 11am pickup. The 'hostess' were disinterested teenagers who couldn't have been less helpful. So my advice is transport yourself our return taxi was 3500FT. Perhaps prepurchase entrance - but honestly that line was as long as the regular line. Definitely bring your own towel if at all possible. There were plenty of tweens and teens when we went and a few toddlers with their parents in the outside pools.

Highlights: We had a blast in the outdoor 'vortex' pool from the entrance pool on the left of the lap pool. Super super fun. The number and variety of pools inside was also great. There is a 'cool' vortex pool inside also fun. Private changing cabins were clean - but they are individual, my niece and nephew shared because they didn't want to go alone. People watching is amazing - there are folks from everywhere, in every shape and size, everyone having a good time.

Lowlights: Towels require a 3000FT deposit you will get 2000 back if it's returned they are neither large nor absorbent. You will likely need 1 for the pools and 1 to dry off. It's a long walk to the towels from the private cabins. The woman at the towel desk is exactly as you might expect a woman who manages a towel desk might be. Overall has the ambience of a public pool - it's a little older, not sparkling clean.

Arrange and you will avoid lines. Arrive early -- before 11am because chairs go fast.

Setting up the tour was easy. Confirmation was received. REMEMBER TO HAVE HUNGARIAN FLORINTS WITH YOU. Pick up at the hotel was right at the specified time. At the drop off at the baths we were met by a member of the baths staff and brought inside. The staff spoke english and all the paperwork was in order. We were headed for the locker room in less than 15 minutes. there was a line at check in but this was understandable. THE BATHS WERE GREAT!!! If you are going to Budapest don't miss this experience. Leaving went to where we checked in and the staff ordered a cab for us. They told us they would do this for us when we checked in. The cab came and the ride back was uneventful - most Hungarians speak little english or don't speak it at all. Arriving at the hotel the cab driver asked to be paid, this is where there was some confusion on my part. I thought the trip was completely paid for - cab to and from and the baths. However, if you read the headliner it clearly states with hotel pick up nothing about return. The cab fare was certainly reasonable. My only suggestion would be to clearly state that the customer is responsible for the return cab fare. Some will state it's clearly obvious in the headliner, I missed it in the excitement of booking the experience. This in no way diminished the experience.
