It was a nice experience and well executed by Zomorrodha floating restaurant. The ambiance was excellent and we were in the lower deck and as promised we were permitted to get on to the upper deck to view fireworks etc. The fact that Burjkhalifa did not have any fireworks but only a light show was a disappointed but this was a known fact and beyond control of the tour operator but we saw some other fireworks which was nice. The buffet was good. A suggestion would be to have a proper DJ on board to kick-off the party and to get the crowd going. Our Group of 5 were allocated 4 1 and when requested the crew members were very cooperative to arrange the seating in such a way that all of us could sit together and a window seat was also provided. As far as pricing is concerned a bit over priced from Viator and the Tour Operators details are not made available at the point of booking to get a better understanding. I would recommend this tour which is operated by Creek Cruises.
The boat described as a luxury, but it was mediocre, very crowded if sitting on top deck one can smell diesel. Food wise, there was not much variety as mentioned in the website, I think it mentioned live pasta station but there was no live pasta station. Food was practically cold and Not much choice for vegetarians.
Burj Khalifa New Year's eve fireworks was cancelled but they had laser show which was poor- disappointing, though we saw some fireworks of Palm Jumera.
Despite all the negatives, we had good time because the family group compensated everything.
The boat was nice, the view was perfect, the food was good but for a New Years Eve event, it could've been better. We booked the upper deck which was the alcohol section but they had to keep going back and forth to the lower deck to get glasses of wine. Eventually we asked to just have a bottle put on the table. There were peanuts on the table as appetizers and that was it until the buffet line was open. The New Year's Eve cake was an 8 inch round cake that guest had to cut a small slice out for themselves and no champagne was brought out to toast the New Year.
I would not suggest this event offered by Jameela floating.
The New year eve dinner cruise was average. The food was not as advertised as being a 5star buffet.
The program planned was not that impressive, tannoura dance show was average and the music was not on most of the time.
