Rabbies/3 Day Tour of Lake District in England. A great tour hosted by Matt! With a smaller group of 16, the trip was more personal. We never felt pressed for time and we saw so many lovely places. We stayed in Keswick, a lovely town to visit again. I want to return for hiking in the Lake District

This well-organized tour by Rabbies was the most memorable experience of our two weeks England-Scotland vacation. Absolutely beautiful land and lakes, of course. We were lucky to have James as our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and with a great sence of humour, pleasure to deal with. We would like to stay longer in most places and, perhaps, a bit less in a few others personal preferences - tastes different but all in all - 3 days were hardly enough to fully enjoy this magnificent part of England. All in all, I wish we could spend more time in the Lake District.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip with James D. We found his friendliness and sense of humor engaging as we formed our little community over the three days together. While we had some rather high-maintenance fellow travelers, James went out of his way to make on the fly adjustments to our itinerary, making it a valuable experience for our entire group.
For us, we chose this tour as an entre to the Lake District, as we had plans to rent a car and immediately return for a week after the tour ended. I am glad we did this, as it gave a good overview of the area and helped us to prioritize the locations we wanted to visit and re-visit.
The local tour company should be a first choice if you are considering a small guided tour anywhere within Scotland or the Lake District. Excellent customer service and value.

James was an excellent guide. He was extremely knowledgable, has a lovely sense of humour and his sense of adventure really made this tour very special. This balance of nature, history and free time make this tour an excellent option for everybody

This was a thoroughly enjoyable tour, thanks to our wonderful driver and guide, Ally, who as well as being entertaining, has a wealth of knowledge about the history and other aspects of the many places we visited. Each day was an adventure, and the accommodation at Glendale B and B was excellent.

A great introduction to the area around Hadrians Wall and the Lakes District. Back roads are the way to go.
Great accommodation. Steve, the bus driver and guide was absolutely fantastic. Great sense of humour, passionate about his work. Extensive local knowledge and clearly did his research prior to the next days activities. Great to be able to stop off and visit locations that large bus tour groups can't access. Couldn't recommend this type of tour highly enough.

The 3 Day Lake District Tour was fabulous. Saw some beautiful scenery, met some great people and stayed in a beautiful guest house with the most welcoming of hosts, the best breakfasts and a lovely comfortable bedroom with a great view of the hills in Keswick. Loved the whole tour and would recommend it heartily. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable as well as being a safe driver. All round, a great experience.

I had a great time! This was a great tour and every penny is worth it. The BB was fabulous. The trip itself included areas I would never have thought of going and our guide, Barney, was great and knowledgeable. I had a great group I toured with and met many people from around the world which was a plus. You do travel a lot on bus so those who get car sick please be aware. We toured the majority of the day and do have the evening off to explore the town you are staying. I got dropped off at the train station which took me to London as I was continuing my journey of the UK. I totally recommend this tour. It is worth doing.
