The river trip to the water fall and to the village was a great experience. Learning the Fijiean culture was very interesting.

This trip was so awesome, it is the best day of my Fiji trip. The guides are all friendly and humorous. They bring you around and show you the natural beauty of this country, unspolit by humans. Also, you get to learn and experience the different culture and rituals in the local village. It's an eye opening experience!

My wife and I did this tour while in Suva for the day on a cruise last October. The tour involved a trip down the river in a long boat, authentic village activities in the village that our tour guide lives in, including dancing, a Kava making ceremony, a smorgasbord lunch including meat cooked under hot stones and a trip to a local waterfall, including a ride on a bamboo raft on the way there. The only down side of the day was that we did not have long at the waterfall due to our ship leaving earlier than the usual end time of the tour, so we cruise passengers were taken back earlier than the others who were with us that day. Thankfully there was safety in numbers as there were 20 cruise ship passengers on our tour and we arrived back at the ship two minutes after the supposed boarding time for guests! All up it was a great day and we packed a lot into our time. Just double check the arrival and departure times of your ship before you book this tour so you don't have the somewhat stressful drive back to the ship in the afternoon that we did, hoping it will still be there waiting for you. Also be warned that there is quite a bit of getting on and off long boats and bamboo rafts involved which wouldn't be easy for older people or those with a disability involving mobility. The walk to the waterfall is also along an uneven and slippery pathway.

Awesome tour and so much for your money! Our guides were very knowledgable and the views were incredible. The highlights were walking back to the magical waterfall and at the village, Nemani the guide! His english was absolutely impeccable! He had such great stories about his life and the history of his village. He made the tour! A must see for all ages. Lunch was amazing!

Brilliant tour made even more special by the tour guides. Very friendly and welcoming guides who take you along the river and show you around the village. Village also very friendly and welcoming. One of a kind river experience. Long but very enjoyable day.

This is a very long day if you are staying on Denarau but it is so worth it. Bill was our guide on the bus and he made the trip fun and kept us laughing. The boats you take up the river to the waterfall are awesome but make sure everything you have on you is waterproof for ease of mind. They provided black garbage bags but I still had our phones, camera, and wallet in their own waterproof compartments. The hike to the waterfall was very short and easy and the waterfall was breathtaking! It was a refreshing swim after being in the boat and under the sun for 45 minutes. Bring sunscreen. The village tour was awesome and informative and the food was plentiful and delicious. We were very tired by the time we got back on the bus but we highly recommend this full day experience.

This was a really great tour. Loved the trip down the river, the cool off in the beautiful falls and village visits are always a wonderful cultural experience. Food and entertainment were both good. Definitely recommend!

This was an amazing day, thank you !!!!! - the only thing we would change was the rain - however that didn't spoil our magical day. Do yourself a favour, take this tour - get out of the city and into the absolutely breathtaking countryside with the friendliest of locals. You won't be disappointed.

Can I please ask again, as I didn't have a pen on the day we visited your village, and cannot remember the places you recommended to stay down your neck of the woods, somewhere not so touristy as we love the serenity and the beauty down there. If you could please give us some suggestions as we would love to come back and stay a while.

We had a wonderful day on this tour, the canoe ride up the river was great fun and very beautiful. Enjoyed the refreshing dip in the waterfall and then the trip back to the village. Fijian people are so friendly and welcoming and the village people made each of us feel important to them. Enjoyed a beautiful lunch and then a lovely massage by one of the village ladies. I would highly recommend this tour for a way to see a little of inland Fiji.
