Découvrez la ville de Hvar comme un habitant au cours de cette excursion des « trésors cachés » d'une durée de 4 heures. We did day trip to the hidden village last year It include wineries last year But we only did half day trip this year. The location of the abandoned village is excellent but the pekar lunch - beyond amazing. Our guide and driver fantastic. We learned lots of new things from our guide her knowledge of the island of Hvar amazing. Loved every bit of the tour.
What a magic day! There were only the two of us on this tour with our wonderful guide Ivan who had grown up on the island and so knew Hvar intimately. We learnt about Hvar today - away from the tourist hordes - as well as interesting parts of its history. Highlights were the views of Hvar Town and neighboring islands, exploring tiny villages, seeing bee hives and buying lavender, seeing lavender in flower covered in huge bumblebees, but lunch was the best in a rustic setting, with traditional tasty food at an abandoned viillage. Ivan dropped us up at the fort at the end of our tour so we could avoid slogging our way up the steep hill. This was a 5 experience.
Ivan picked me up at our hotel and I was the only one on the tour as my wife was ill. Ivan took me to the fort built by Napoleon which sits above Hvar for great view of the city. Ivan's historical knowledge of his city and country really allowed me to put what I was seeing in context with the old and what is happening today. In addition to the wild lavender and oregano, Ivan pointed out wild caper plants. The traditional lunch in an abandon village was excellent. It was a great day with some amazing views and history. Well worth taking.
