The bus was comfy and Luis our guide was very nice and knowledgeable. We have very limited time in Miami but wanted to visit Key West. This trip fit our time and budget perfectly! Prepare cash if you plan to do tours once you get there. I like that they pick you up from your hotel, 5 stars for convenience, however, the driver picked us up 15 mins late from AND drove way tooo fast! ....probably making up for lost time. A quick text or phone call to notify us would have been nice but other than that I would recommend this trip to anyone!
A brilliant trip, we were picked up on time and our driver Forget name we travelled on Thursday 2nd of March, was superb, very friendly and informative and recommended the best way to see Key West, we chose the trolley car and he purchased the tickets for us and made us aware of our pick-up point and time and we had regular stops for restrooms and refreshments.
Key West is also beautiful with lots to see and do.
We would highly recommend.
Enjoyed the trip immensely. Only negative was the time taken to collect all the participants from their hotels. This took 1.5 hours. Would be greatly improved if a lot of mini-busses were used to collect guests from the various locations.
I Joined the tour to Key west on the day and was disappointed in the cometary that was given.I really think they need to have a separate tour guide as in most countries.
The bus driver was the tour guide as well i found the commentary poor with a strong accent could not understand everything he was saying.
There was no enough information or commentary given out on the way down to key west and Not much help given when we arrived he did not tell us where the Tourist information booth was. Basically just told us where to meet. It was basically a Transfer bus not much more, i wouldn't call it a tour at all.
How ever, the positive thing i will say is the bus driver got us home safely even though a little late we took an alternative highway due to an accident.
I think the tours in Miami need to improve all over, they need to provide separate tour guides they just do a better job. Bus drivers constantly talking on their mobile phones interrupting their cometary,
I found on one tour, the Bus driver doing his business on the mobile closing deals on with his rel-estate business while the Tourists were on board this was unprofessional. They also use too many old buses that are looked like they were from the 70's some of the doors opening while we were on the highways due to poor maintenance... I would think twice about recommending this tour unless they want to just go and spend a few hours down in Key-west.
We weren't sure if we were in the right spot to be picked up because we were the only people there and they were 45 minutes to an hour late picking us up. When we got on, we were the last people picked up so we didn't even get to sit together and we were on our honeymoon. Other than that it was great.
We were picked up 30 minutes late with no apology. The driver drove like a bat out of hell and there were no seatbelts. The driver stopped at McDonalds for breakfast - there were no other options nearby. This is a long day. 4 hour journey to get there, 4 hours in Key West at your leisure, and 4 hour journey back. We were the last to be picked up and the first to be dropped off so your day may be even longer if you are the first or near one of the first to be picked up and one of the last to be dropped off. I really wanted to go in the short time we had in Miami so it was worth it for me - but perhaps more time in Key West would have been nice and perhaps next time I will stay overnight to break up the trip a bit.
