Our voucher advised we needed to reconfirm at least 48 hours prior to departure. Carmen from Aria concierge called Richard Petty Driving Experience on our behalf. I asked Carmen to arrange the pick up as the voucher stated pick up is available from Excalibur, Caesars, Aria, Encore or Wynn. Carmen was advised that Richard Petty Driving Experience no longer picked up from the Strip and we should get to 4055 Dean Martin Blvd and we would be picked up by a shuttle at 12:45. We had not anticipated the additional cost of 15.00 for a taxi which was frustrating but we got to the collection point at 12:35. We were concerned as the Rio Concierge and Taxi driver were unfamiliar with the address. On arrival at Exotic Driving Experience the ladies who worked for Exotic Driving Experiences explained the Richard Petty Driving Experience staff had left. Thankfully these ladies called the supplier on our behalf. Unfortunately they were told that the contact centre was in a different State! They then asked if we had reconfirmed! To which my response was how would I know a random address in Las Vegas if I hadnt reconfirmed! The Exotic Driving Experience Ladies then managed to find a mobile number for Ray. They rang and Ray said he was on his way... 30 minutes later Ray arrived... no apology or explanation as to what had happened. I was furious as this had been booked as a 50th Birthday Celebration. I made a complaint locally and was advised that Richard Petty Driving Experience had not picked up from hotels on the Strip for 5 months! Apparently it was due to booking with a 3rd Party and not Direct! The ride along Experience was fantastic as were the staff. Though they understood the reason for the complaint and gave an apology and they dropped us off at our hotel we were disappointed that they did not offer any good will gesture for the inconvenience even when we spent an additional 100 on merchandise! Though I think the reason for not doing this is because they believe this to be Viators error not theirs.
