I would not take this tour! If I had known what it was going to be--Definitely not as advertised. Nothing really too impressive except the desert (stunning views and berber hosts were incredible) That was the part I most looked forward to and it definitely held up its end of the bargain. As for the other locations on the itinerary totally made me give this 2stars too touristy. Even the Berber Village that was supposed to show how the way of life was-- it all about multiple groups of young children following the tour group the whole duration and begging for money-- super intense. As for the carpet making portion-- it wasn't really about how to make a carpet,or how the women loom. The woman that was to demonstrate just sat behind the loom while gentleman who's house it was began to bring out stacks of carpets not talking about the process but then basically trying to sell us carpets on the spot. The fact that our group made way for the door without really wanting to hear more should say it all, definitely could have done without that part. Same with the rest of it except for the desert. I think there needs to be this same tour with 2 night stay in desert or something along those lines and leave out everything else.
Also, even though the tour description states tour guide able to speak English, they didn't really speak English-- more so French or Spanish. The drivers of the vehicle that drove majority of the way was pretty reckless on the roads also-- speeding, hard stops, and almost hit a biker. The same with the taxi driver heading from the desert to Fes-- speeding, hard stops, also had the nerve to want to add another passanger, which was a family member waiting for him on the side of the road, along the way even though I had a PRIVATE car. The icing on the cake to top it off arriving in Fez-- where he was just about to leave me without knowing where I was heading in the middle of the medina. To this I just told him I was to be dropped off at hotel--giving me a bit a attitude he continued to drive where hotel was( narrow streets) -- in the process runs into a parked vehicle on the side I was sitting on.
I just feel this was an overpriced experience. I was interested in doing a different desert tour--but was all sold out. This one was the closest, definitely would have waited to do the other. DO NOT BOOK if not interested in tourist traps.
