This was a great way to spend our first morning in Munich. Jake, our guide, was absolutely fantastic. He made the tour a really fun experience. It's an ideal way to begin a visit to Munich as you see a lot of the main attractions and then you can return alone to explore / learn more.
I signed up for this tour on a trip to Munich for my dad and I. While the tour guide was clearly very knowledgeable, she was not able to speak loud enough on the tour for everyone to hear. Although multiple people asked her to speak up at different times on the trip, she would only raise her voice for about 30 seconds before returning to a quiet level. This led us to leave about half way into the tour as we felt we weren't getting anything out of it. According to a couple we ran into that took the tour with us (and stuck around), there were only 4 people left out of the 20 the tour started with by the end. Overall, if there is a risk of getting a tour guide like this, I would not recommend this tour.
It was raining during the tour but our guide made the best of it. A great tour and so much info covered. Definitely book and go when you first arrive in Munich so you learn your way around a bit in the process.
Fantastic. Such a great city Munich is, the history goes back much further than the 20th century which the city is probably best known for, however to see the sites and places of such an infamous period in 20th century history took place is amazing. The sites still bear the scars of that era. Again the guide makes it.
I highly recommend this tour because it includes many central Munich sites within a short (about) two hour tour. The pace was perfect . Our tour guide Charlie did a great job of providing information and entertaining us at the same time.
