This was a wonderful way for first time visitors to see two of the top attractions in Nairobi. Our guide Patrick was prompt, friendly, and helpful and he worked to see that we had the best possible experience at both places. Feeding a giraffe by mouth was my personal highlight. Afterwards he added a stop at the Kazuri Beads Factory, a local shop in which women make handmade ceramic jewelry. Yes, we happily bought some. Then he was willing to help us find lunch and run a few quick errands before returning us to our hotel. It was the perfect day for us, and we could not have been more pleased with this tour.
I enjoyed the day tour at the elephant orphanage and giraffe center immensely! The narrator was informative and the keepers were smiling and friendly. I LOVED seeing how happy the elephants and giraffes were! They all looked very healthy and well-kept. Keep up the good work for this important cause.
Fun day! Our tour guide, Stephen, was super nice and very knowledgeable. He even took us to one additional stop on our way back to the hotel at my request. The only thing that was not fully explained was lunch whether or not it was included in a full-day trip and whether or not we were supposed to pay for our guide's lunch, which we did. Other than that, super.
Excellent tour. Our guide Patrick was wonderful, and smartly took us to the giraffes first which meant we had them to ourself for almost an hour before the crowds started arriving. No way around the crowds at the elephants, but he got us a good place to stand where several little elephants were right next to us the whole time. Definitely a highlight for Nairobi!
