We had a great time on our tour! There were 6 of us attending a mini high school reunion and decided to take this tour! Elizabeth, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining! The sites we visited were awesome and the food and drinks were very tasty and Elizabeth did an excellent job explaining about the history of Nashville and counting us to be sure she didnt lose anyone! Everything was perfect, thanks Elizabeth!
What a great way to explore the city. Elizabeth, our guide was fun, sweet and provided a lot of great information including tips on what to do for the rest of our visit. On our trip we had pralines, chicken and waffles, great barbeque brisket and ribs, a Bushwacker then ended our tour with a stop for Yazoo beer and some fried pickles, We had a nice group of eight of us on our tour and became fast friends. Elizabeth also showed us some interesting sights and provided lots of interesting history. The tour took three hours. Lots of fun. Highly recommended.
The Music City Walking Tour was amazing. Our guide Torrie was friendly. She made everyone feel welcome and she was very knowledgeable of Nashville and had so many good stories to tell. . The food was plentiful, the drinks good. I highly recommend this tour.
Corrie and Elizabeth, our tour guides, were very knowledgeable and kept things very entertaining. All of the food and drinks were delicious. We left with full bellies and music in our heads. It was a great tour and we will recommend this tour to anyone who is going to Nashville.
TJ was the best tour guide! We learned a lot about the history of Nashville and saw so many different parts of the town. He was very accommodating to different places we wanted to see and the food stops were amazing! Nice little mom and pop type places and the food samplings were delicious and more than expected. We highly recommend him and this tour for anyone who is interested in truly seeing and learning about Nashville.
The Guide was very knowledgeable, and kept the tour moving along. However, the food was not at all what was anticipated. The starter was pralines and caramels moving to fried catfish, hush puppies, French fries and an alcoholic ice cream drink - at 10:30 AM. From there we had Goo Goo Clusters and moved to fried alligator and fried pickles. To say that the food was a total disappointment would be an understatement. The fellow tour members were all singularly unimpressed with the food choices - something made especially acute when you consider what a vibrant and innovative food scene the City of Nashville actually has. I would not recommend this tour due to the relatively poor choices for food made by the operator.
We went as a large group, 14 people, whose spouses were in a meeting. We walked the easy tour, received great local knowledge and got to eat and drink along the way. Honestly, we were stuffed by the last stop. The tour takes an easy pace and you learn some fun facts along the way. You get to see the river, symphony, Ryman, and some other stops and the information we all found interesting but not too much after a long night of socializing. I would recommend you do this in the beginning of your trip to get a lay of the land too.
