Great trip overall. Driver Chuck was very personable and even early on the pickup time. Added some local flavor to the trip by giving us some stories and 4 of the 5 stops were excellent, particularly Rief and Between the Lines. The last one, Colaneri, was a let down at the end of the trip because the staff seemed rather disinterested in our presence compared to the other 4 spots that were very welcoming. Would definitely do it again with the last stop being adjusted.
The driver was warm and friendly, Chuck. The tour was great and very informative and knowledgeable. We learned a lot and I would recommend this tour as the price was right. The Kolzman Estates Winery was the first stop and exceptional with wine knowledge. I learned how to taste the wine properly and the tour of how to make the wine was the best. We had a small tour of only four of use and the other couple were great to spend time with. Lunch was good and this was well worth the price.
This guided tour was amazing. Our guide Tom, was on time for pickup, very knowledgeable, and very friendly. All five of the vineyards were very nice. Our favorites were Ravine and Colleneri. They saved the best for last! Thanks for a fabulous experience.
The guide/driver Bobby was terrific. The English taxi they picked us up in was very cool, but hardly appropriate for the 6'5 300 lbs of one of us. We were introducing good friends from Spokane to the region. We know the area and the wineries well, but wanted the convenience of a planned tour. We found the choice of wineries to be poor. Of the five chosen we felt only two reflected the quality of wines grown in the region. When on a wine tour we did not expect the lunch to consist of pub food. Only two offered a private room for tasting, and at the other three we could have done the same thing for 5. Of the three wine tours we have done in the past this was by far the least satisfying.
