We were a group of 6 aging from 68-74. Irene our guide and driver was absolutely fantastic! The tour was beautiful, educational, moderately paced and fun! Irene's driving skills were phenominal. She gave us plenty of time to enjoy every stop. There are a lot of steps to climb at Eze but well worth it! Thank you Irene!
Driver was half an hour late which a poor start. There were a dozen drivers for same company at the meeting point and many were on time so this was pot luck. Actual tour was good, we spent the right amount of time at each stop and packed a lot in, really enjoyed the day and I would recomend
This was just a great day and we feel as though we maximized our time in port. Our tour guide, Marion was excellent and again, the small group situation made for a much better experience. Overall, i would recommend taking small group tours whenever possible, regardless of the destination. The castle in Eze was excellent and the gardens at the top were beautiful and the views were spectacular. After this we went to the perfume factory, which I could have skipped and not missed it. Mostly just an opportunity to sell stuff. Monaco was great. We basically walked this ourselves and then Marion took us over to the Monte Carlo Casino which was a very cool.
We were a family of 4 with another couple so a total of 6 people on the tour. We were picked up from the port for a 7 hour tour. It was a little foggy so our tour guide Renaud did a great job of re-routing us so we could get the best views. Reno was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to accommodate us to see as much as we could and took family photos along the way. Great day!
Jennifer was knowledgeable and very pleasant. We started our day in Villefranche, then onto Eze and Monaco. Villefranche was quaint and friendly. Eze was an amazing experience and the view from the garden atop Eze spans from Villefranche to Cannes. Monaco is exactly what you'd expect. Along the way Jennifer gave us wonderful insight.
This was a great tour, but a little disorganized as they had to switch our guide because another full day group was late getting off the boat and they didn't want to have to sit and wait for this group. Our guide was very energetic with loads of information since she lived in the area. We even had a little time to gamble in the Casino in Monaco.
The day tour was excellent. Nicholas took into account the inclement weather and modified the itinery to take us to indoor places while it was raining. He was personable, informative, and gave us a good balance of guided and free time. He shared his excellent local knowledge freely. The only negative was that the day ended slightly abruptly and a little prematurely when Nicholas was told by his boss to pick up another person who urgently needing assistance. Other wise excellent.
