This was an awesome experience from start to finish! Our tour guide was fabulous and knowledgeable, eating at the Eiffel Tower was divine, Versailles tour was fascinating and beautiful and the river cruise and dinner was a wonderful! It was our first day in Paris and we loved every minute of this adventure!
This tour was amazing. Lunch at Eiffel was great and Versailles was beautiful. The reserved access to palace and gardens helped a lot because the lines were just crazy .
Couple of tips - For Eiffel tower lunch you get to go to first level and then you can climb up to the 2nd level. However if you want to go all the way up , there is not enough time in this tour for that. You can come back in evening or some other day .
Our tour began at the tour company's office. Vincent met our group, and we loaded up in a minivan. The day began with a sightseeing tour from the van. Vincent was very knowledgeable, and he made the tour fun. The only problem was with the minivan. It was very hard to see some of the locations he was telling us about. I'm not sure what could be changed, but when I was sitting in the middle seat, I missed a lot. We got to walk around when we got to Notre Dame, so that was nice.
The Eiffel Tower lunch was fun, and there was plenty of time to walk around and go up to the second level. The food was good, but not amazing. The server was polite.
After lunch, we drove to Versailles. We had some time to walk around the garden before our tour started. When we went in to the castle, he gave us earphones so we could hear him well as he described what we were seeing. Vincent is a great story teller, and he pointed out a lot of things that I would have missed without his tour. We had more time to see the gardens after the tour, and then he drove us back to Paris.
He dropped us off at the Seine River dinner cruise. The food was good, but the real attraction was the view. There were large windows, and we got to see Paris from the river while we ate. It was really fun!
I really enjoyed this tour, our host was very knowledgeable and accommodating to everyone. would have liked more free time at Versailles as we didn't have enough time after the tour to explore at our leisure before we had to leave. Our host left us to dine alone for lunch and dinner and I was surprised that we were left to make our own way home at the end of the day and not to be taken back to the tour office. It didn't matter as the cruise ended at the Eiffel Tower so if you wanted to continue your night you could, however it would have been nice to be advised in advance or have it stated in the booking information. Lunch and dinner were both good and the wait staff at the Eiffel Tower were especially accommodating and friendly. My only criticism is the windows of the bus were dirty and as it was a sightseeing tour and you were taking photos from inside the bus it was a bit annoying. Also, a couple of groups left the tour at lunchtime as they only booked 1/2 day tour and left their rubbish inside the bus and it remained there for the rest of the day instead of being cleared away. Maybe a minor point but as we had another couple of people join us after lunch to go to Versailles it limited where they sat. I would recommend this tour.
A true taste of Paris...a fantastic bus tour around many of the sights of Paris, lunch at Eiffel 58 at the Eiffel Tower and an afternoon tour of Versailles. A lot to see and you are on the move all the time but well worth it if looking for a 1 day tour. Very highly recommended
Having only 48 hours to spend on my first trip to Paris, I chose this group tour to get a high level view of Paris' great attractions. This small group tour exceeded my expectations. The tour was broken up into 4 sessions. The city tour was a perfect start to the day and made the view from the Eiffel Tower even more meaningful with a view of the sights we had just visited. Versailles Gardens are stunning.
This tour is worth every penny. It's a very small group, only 7 of us. In the morning, when the tour starts, you get on a small van and get a private tour of Paris. The guide was super knowledgeable, and would even stop the van to allow pictures in the major areas. Then it's off to the Eiffel Tower for a delicious three course lunch. Then you get on the van again and travel to Versailles, where you get an audio tour for the palace. To round out your day you get a three course dinner cruise! Worth every penny.
