Le nombre de participants pour ce cours en petit groupe est limité à 8 personnes, pour vous assurer une attention personnalisée de la part de votre expert en cuisine et gastronomie française.
Mixed feelings about this experience. The good news: it was basically a private class only 2 of us in the class. The market experience was fun and informative. The chef quickly emailed the recipes after our class and allowed us to take photos of other recipes. Not good news: Since it was just us, we were asked what we wanted to cook as we walked to the market. We were not prepared to suggested French dishes. We said something with chicken, so the chef suggested we make 'chicken with 2 vinegars'. We also made asparagus with cheese and creme caramel for desert. The only part of the meal where we learned some good techniques was with the creme caramel, the rest of the 'class' did not really expand our knowledge of French cooking. It ended up being an expense chicken lunch
Chef Dury was incredible. Very good host, wonderful menu with all instructions in excellent english. Can be a little challenging to find but an entirely worthwhile day! Cant wait to try recreating the meal at home.
My sister and I had an amazing time with Dominic!! He was a wonderful host and spoke great English. He went above and beyond to make our experience perfect!! We were staying by the Eiffel tower and successfully took the train there and back for about 3euro each round trip. The apartment had a great few of the garden and was very cool to experience the Paris way of life. The food and wine were incredible!!! I will definitely be trying the recipes at home! I highly recommend this cooking class!
This was probably the true highlight of our entire trip. Fred's cooking school is located right near Pere Lechaise cemetary which was an added bonus at the end of the day. The school has a maximum of 8 participants and we were a group of 7 which worked out well. We started the day at the local market where we walked through and looked at everything before purchasing anything. Based on the produce, fish, meat and chicken looked, the group made decision with regard to what we would cook. Fred made the day fun, informative, and as much work as you wanted it to be. I would highly recommend this and look forward to a return trip.
Chef Martha was a fantastic host - she took us on a most informative and enjoyable tour of the local market and then orchestrated all 5 of us taking a lead role in preparing lunch. Great tuition, great food, great company. Who could ask for more?
