Loved it. Our tour guide Cecilia was amazing - very organized, knowledgeable, and fun. Be prepared for a long day of walking and biking, but to experience the whole of Versailles (most of which you'd likely never see on foot) is well worth it.
Our guide Nina was simply amazing! She was so knowledgeable and was a great storyteller. She gave us such a thorough tour we felt as though we lived during the reign of the monarchy in France. Going by bike also allowed us to see the extensive grounds which was my favorite part of the tour. The market time was excellent with so many phenomenal food choices. We had a picnic along the canals before finishing the tour of the Hamlet, Petit Trianon and Grand Trianon. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour.
First have of tour fabulous with our guide Robin! Knowledgeable, fun and friendly. Bikes were easy to use and in good condition. Unfortunately the last stop was the Palace of Versailles where we waited 1.5 hours to get in...rejected skip the line tickets. Tired and extremely crowded. A bummer!
We had an amazing time on the tour and this was definitely a highlight of our time in Paris. Our guide, Cecilia was amazing! She was so knowledgeable and entertaining and made French history a lot of fun. The company did everything they could to ensure we got the full experience despite the palace being closed early for an unexpected diplomatic visit, rearranging our day and making sure that we got the most out of our trip. Cecilia went above and beyond, guiding our group through the gardens and making sure we all had a great day. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a day trip out of Paris!
Our tour guide was a pleasure to be with and the ride was a lot of fun. I especially liked going to the market first to select what I personally wanted for lunch. I was slightly rainy the day I was there but each bike was equipped with a rain poncho so it was all good.
This was one of the best excursions of our week long trip to Paris. The trip was well organized and informative. Martina, our guide, was a wealth of French history and had a lovely personality. The trip to the French Market and the picnic was one of most delicious meals we had on our trip. The bikes were easy and fun to maneuver and allowed us to see most of the beautiful Versailles estate. Thank you Blue Fox Travel for a very memorable trip!
This was a highlight of our trip! Our guide, Nina, was so much fun and very knowledgeable. She lead us through the market to get our lunch, put us on our bikes and lead us through the grounds of Versailles. We took plenty of breaks to learn some of the history and some fun stories. Our picnic lunch was very relaxing. After we returned our bikes we walked back to the palace to explore on our own. Loved this day!!!
Loved it! This was a fun experience. My family and I enjoyed riding our bikes around the garden and learning about its history. The lunch time picnic was a nice break. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in learning some of the history of Versailles and/or wanting to visit the palace.
